A most welcoming hotel owner and staff, who really went out of their way to hep us with coming and going by car to their hotel that was located right at the city old town, hence hard to reach and find parking. The owner personally drove my car from a distant parking where I was lost. For arrival to the hotel, we were late for check in but had sent a message to them- so they had waited for our arrival and made sure that we were served a delicious dinner at their restaurant. We had a room with panoramic view of Alberobello and could walk out into a spacious terrace. Breakfast was delicious with freshlymade cakes and croissants, complete with espresso and coffee made to order. We could not be happier with the location of the hotel.

Great location

Ideally located in the centre of the town, we received a warm and friendly welcome from very helpful reception staff. We were then given the key to a freezing cold and tiny double room. We figured out the heat through the air-conditioning but no-one thought to mention it to us or to put it on in advance so this was a disappointment. We had to put blankets on the bed ourselves because only sheets and a bedcover were made up. Dinner in the restaurant was not great and breakfast was really lacking in any imagination. Maybe there are larger and better rooms ... definitely ask for one because ours was like a shoe-box.

Hotel Lanzillotta Review

This is an excellent small hotel in a great location with friendly and helpful staff with an ambient basement restaurant resembling a converted dungeon. I ate the best pork cutlet I've ever eaten and felt compelled to compliment the chef. Breakfast is great too. The only criticism I have is that the bedroom was too small, but this was compensated by the view of some Trulli buildings opposite the bedroom balcony. I would recommend staying here.

The staff, Analisa, Lira, Francesco, made our stay wonderful. Lovely family run hotel with an excellent restaurant and comfortable rooms. Well worth a visit in the Trullo town.

L’hotel Lanzillotta ha una posizione perfetta per visitare i trulli. È ad 1 minuto a piedi. Purtroppo mi è stata assegnata una camera attaccata all’ascensore e ospiti maleducati alle 4:30 del mattino si sono intrattenuti a parlare e urlare senza alcun rispetto per gli altri ospiti. La camera possiede il televisore, il frigo e tutto ciò che serve per essere classificato 4*, però tutto ridotto ai minimi termini a partire dalla finestra microscopica. La camera oltre ad essere vicina all’ascensore e per nulla insonorizzata è anche vicina al bagno della lounge che consente quindi di controllare perfettamente chi e cosa fa ogni ospite dell’hotel. Potrebbe avere grosse potenzialità ma necessita di molto lavoro.

Bon emplacement

Personnel très sympathique, un emplacement parfait. On peut faire toute la ville à pieds une ville magnifique. En revanche la chambre est vraiment à l ancienne et comme il y a des gros meubles en bois partout et de gros chuffages à l ancienne il y a peu de place pour circuler. C est dommage avec un peu plus de modernité il serait parfait..
