We are experienced travelers on a month long tour of Europe. Two principle problems with the hotel. No AC in out suite and after four days of complaining no action. And yes the Spanish are late starters in the morning but the hotel was inconsistent with when breakfast opened. The cafe was dedicated to a business affair so there was no viable place to eat a roll and coffee. And the bar was slow, overworked and while attractive, not very comfortable. These are not just picayune complaints, but established an uncomfortable stay and we left early.
we celebrated our weddingd lunch and party in Siken Ciudad de Vitoria. We were really impressed by the kindness and profesionality of its staff, we received a very good service and we were very happy with the quality of the food served.
No food in the hotel between 4pm and 8.30pm so don't go there with children or if you like to eat early. No tea and coffee facilities in the room unless you pay for the higher standard. Not even room service is available before 8.30pm.
Very good hotel and service. Clean and calm. Many small details that make a difference with other hotels such as 2 entry cards to rooms (in many hotels they would give only one). Would recommend 100%.
Hotel is in the center of town and convenient. Hotel restaurant and piano bar are more than adequate. There are ample restaurants within walking distance. The city of Vitoria provides some of the best cuisine. I will definitely be coming back here.
An overnight stop on the way through Spain to home in Portugal, great location would definitely stay again....great location on the edge of the old city, fantastic food and excellent value restaurant too
I wanted to explore the Basque country and needed a base. After passing over the usual suspects I decided on Vitoria. The hotel itself is in a great location within the city centre. On arrival I was greeted by attentive cheerful staff who made the check-in easy and comfortable. My room on the fourth floor was spacious, clean with a good sized bathroom and bed. An early review had said that rooms were in need of attention and I did notice a mark on the carpet, some slightly peeled wall paper and the window sill needed some repair. However, these are minor quibbles and did not detract in any way from my stay as they were very minor rather than major and I am sure the hotel management are aware of these issues. On the whole I found the hotel to be very pleasant and had a lovely reception and bar area. Food wise I cannot comment as I stayed room only, something I prefer as I like to explore different options. Throughout my stay all staff were pleasant and attentive without being intrusive and the gentleman who served behind the bar on all the nights I was there was very professional. As I loved Vitoria so much I will definitely be returning and it will definitely be this hotel which for price, location, welcome and comfort I would definitely recommend.
Possibly the best hotel in Vitoria. The staff helpful and friendly.....rooms are comfortable TV has access to English speaking channels....mini bar...but no tea/coffee making facility. Bathroom good size shower over bath powerful. Breakfast was buffet with good selection of cheeses meats etc together with 3 hot plates. It was discounted by 5 euro which was good as at 15 euro would have been well overpriced.was discounted by 5 euro The hotel is within an easy 10 minute walk too the centre and to the old town. The town itself is quiet with not a lot of visitor attraction...two nights adequate stay.
This is a really well run, comfortable hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is just outside Vitoria's beautiful old town area. They provide secure underground parking for a modest charge.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in the city generally where we found everyone to be very helpful and friendly. A short walk through a lovely park to the centre, the hotel is a good standard and we have nothing negative to say about it.
