This was my first stay at this hotel but the money is not worth it. Check in was smooth however i requested for a quieter room and i got a room which was next to the sheesa place and the noise was killer. Anyways the room itself was a turn off, while the hotel lobby is nice and modern the room was more like antique, TV was old, switches were not at convenient location and the channels were pretty outdated. On the plus side the breakfast was good with good variety and nice seating place. Personally i dont think i will stay here again.
Lack of any Easter plate with fruit or anything else in my room. Invisible management does not respond to any needs of hotel guests. Television programs are poor. You will not find sports channels. As a regular guest, I am very sorry. Dariusz L.
This hotel does not deserve one star. It is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. No reservation by phone, you have to ho through other hotel booking to make a reservation. The hotel services are really poor. Beds are not comfortable and the bathrooms are damaged and old with no maintenance. Too much noise and laud music all the time. Parking is always full. Breakfast is a wrong decision to make. Quality of food abd services are too bad. Overall I will never go back again to this hotel and I will not recommend it to anyone.
It's a nice hotel form the people at the reception and the restaurant ,the food it's not to much kind of it put it's delicious, also the deserts very good from my opinion , rooms are clean the air conditioner working good
I was waiting 2 hours to check in because the room was not ready. The bedroom toilet didn't work And the living room bathroom was full of water, The room service bad and they didn't answer the phone. There was no door man and no trolley to take my staff i had to wait too long for them My advice: don't bother yourself to stay in this hotel
Old structure that may need a re-construction more than a renovation, with furniture and amenities falling apart. Service is what you may expect in any 3/4 star hotel in KSA. Dinner buffet is worth only if you are really starving. On the other side, it is reasonably priced and - if you only need one night sleep - beds are comfy and rooms quiet.
I checked in late and went to my room. It smelled and did not feel clean. I went about cleaning it myself. The next day I ate only in the hotel for breakfast and room service later. I woke up; at 2am with poisoning and was sick and with diarrhea for 3 hours. I visited the doctor next day for medication. I spent the entire next day with cramps and only able to drink water, The only reason i didin't check out immediately was the booking was made by the company I am working with here and it would have caused much embarrassment. I stayed before in the other Holiday In 5 minutes away for over a month without issue. I suggest you book that one!
I would not recommend staying at this hotel, where the standards have deteriorated over the last 2-3 years. As a IHG Platinum Elite card holder and a global user of Holiday Inn hotels, I have to say this is the worst Holiday Inn hotel I have stayed at and I will not be returning to this hotel. My biggest issue was the cleanliness of my room (#332), more importantly the questionable cleanliness of the bedding upon arrival. Following a long flight from the UK, I arrived at 0400 in the morning, and I simply wanted to get to bed for a full day of meetings. Despite being a non-smoking room, the bedding smelt of cigarette smoke and it really didn't feel like I was getting into a clean bed. There was no fresh smell of wash detergents, which you'd expect from a 'clean' bed........ There was also musty smell in both the bedroom and bathroom - the bathroom also didn't feel like it had been cleaned with detergents. There had been work done in the room, but instead of re-papering, they put patches to cover any work - patchwork walls. This place is just dated and I doubt think they pay any attention to cleaning. There are far better places to stay in Dammam and I won't be returning in future.
Booked myself here for 3 nights. Stayed there for a night as if now, 2 more to go and I am not sure if I want to continue. The moment I entered the room, the smell of mold and dampness hit me. The room seemed clean enough, so it most probably is the AC which is at fault. The bathroom is tiny and the shower area barely has room over my head and I am not very tall! (5'7"). I had asked for a room on the first floor though there are only two floors (G+1), they said they dont have availibility although I barely saw any people around the hotel. I had asked for a change of room or upgrade but i was refused that, so much for being a "IHG Gold Elite" member. This is my 3rd time in Saudi and the previous stays were at Holiday Inn Khobar on the Old Airport road and that was much better in comparison. I may take a decision today to checkout of here and moving there unless I am given other alternatives. Quite disappointing.
I would not recommend this place. People at reception are not very friendly and don’t speak English particularly well for an hotel with international customers. The receptionist had to ask the porter to translate for him... Room are not very clean and the decoration is a bit outdated. Window was clearly not closing properly, making the room noisy and super warm. A/C was extremely noisy due to its old age. I would try to avoid this place in the future except if a massive refurbishment takes place.
