Love and Hate

It was ‘not to bad’ overall except that there are too many flies in the house, I would attribute this to the season. Clean but quite a cold house to stay in, strong wind from the mountain behind it penetrates the logs and I feel the heating is not efficient and sufficient so it felt cold for a visitor coming from tropical countries. Overall was good, also I would advise host to have more ‘user guide’ friendly to guests, probably instructions and information of the house, as only the owner would know the place well. Although I didn’t have a smooth check-in process, standing out there cold with 1 Deg C, trying to gain access to the place was not fun and welcoming at all, however, the entire decor reminds me of some farm stays in Australia which is nice, it will be perfect to complete with a fire place just like those in Oz.

Sejour inoubliable

Incroyable sejour de 3 nuits au Log Cabin. Le chalet est magnifique et dispose de tout ce dont un visiteur a besoin. La vue est a couper le souffle. Le calme est obsolu. Nous avons pu facilement parcourir la peninsule jusqu'à siglufjordur mais aussi jusqu'à Husavik. Godafoss n'est pas tres loin non plus. Moins de 10 minutes en voiture jusqu'au suoerbe forest lagoon... et Akureyri est une ville tres attachante. Un immense merci à Sandra et Jonas pour leur aide, gentillesse et professionnalisme.

3 nuits superbes

3 nuits merveilleuses dans ce grand chalet à la vue imprenable et grandiose sur Akureyri. Chalet tres bien équipé. La communication avec les propriétaires a été aimable et tres fluide.
