I am a writer and professor and expected access to a computer and printer as advertised. There was not access and the computer was out of service. Front desk hoped I understood. No I dont, and I think an adjustment should be made on my bill for lack of service in this regard. no on premises computer or word processing, very bad!!!
The staff was very friendly during check in. Once in the room I always check the sheets and noticed that they hadn’t be changed. The bathroom was clean. Contacted the front desk to get clean sheets and the agent wasn’t as friendly as when I checked in. They delivered the sheets and I had to change the bed myself. Besides that the rest of my stay was okay. This is a low budget hotel.
Front desk person had a nasty attitude. Many people were smoking outside and around the pool with their dog barking until 1 am, cigaret butt every where, smell of cigaret would reach the room. Sheets were humid, ac poorly performing, spider web were inside the room in 2 different area, carpet was moldy and sticky. Will never go back. We usually go at the fairfield Mariottt next door but was unfortunately booked. Terrible experience.

The pool was in total disarray. The room was dingy and the carpet felt unclean.
Very dirty and unsafe. My door would not close because apparently someone took a crow bar to it. I will never stay at a Clarion again.
Location is convenient to downtown and other places, but hotel is very basic and could use some updating. Bed was uncomfortable. Overpriced, but we were there during a high-demand time.
