Ideal place to stay for Aigues-Mortes / Carmague

Super little holiday home, easy access to old Aigue-Mortes, very quiet location, nicely appointed living accommodation and a small, well equipped kitchen. Very pleasant and helpful host (Jean Charles) who even put up with my stuttering attempts at conversing with him in French! Would definitely like to come back and can thoroughly recommend the property. Super petite maison de vacances, accès facile au vieil Aigue-Mortes, endroit très calme, logement joliment aménagé et petite cuisine bien équipée. Hôte très agréable et serviable (Jean Charles) qui a même supporté mes tentatives de bégaiement pour converser avec lui en français ! J'aimerais certainement revenir et je recommande vivement la propriété.

Welcoming Couple!

Of course Aigues Mortes is a very interesting place in France. That goes without saying. Patricia and her husband are fantastic hosts! Their apartment, next to their house was immaculate and had everything one needed to enjoy ones stay. It is very close to the old walled village and spotless! Patricia is super nice! For we who find the less stairs the better, the apartment has none! Parking is in front of the property so that is great too. The only nit would be that the internet can be slow and/or intermittent. But then again if you are there for the internet, you probably should stay home.

Check-in war freundlich und wir erhielten alle erforderlichen Informationen. Die Küchenausstattung war grundsätzlich ausreichend vorhanden. Uns fehlten lediglich Müsli-Schüsseln. Das Besteck wies allerdings schon deutliche Gebrauchsspuren aus. Und die Becher waren unterschiedlich und wirkten zusammengesammelt.Sehr schön fanden wir, das die Wohnung in einer ruhigen Wohngegend liegt. Und mit dem Fahrrad war man schnell im Ortskern.

una bella vacanza sotto al sole della Camargue

La casetta affittata è una porzione della villa di Giancarlo, un simpaticissimo e cordialissimo italiano ormai francese a tutti gli effetti, con il quale ci siamo piacevolmente intrattenuti. Nonostante l'adiacenza, la casa è estremamente riservata. E' pulitissima ed attrezzata di ogni cosa possa servire, conformemente alle descrizioni presenti sul sito e si trova a pochi minuti in auto (circa 1500 metri) dalla parte fortificata della città. In un quarto d'ora di macchina si raggiunge la bellissima spiaggia dell'Espiguette ma è comunque in una posizione molto comoda per visitare la classica Camargue o le città interne. Indubbiamente una vacanza che ha soddisfatto tutte le aspettative. Ottimo...ciao Giancarlo!

Super séjour en camargue

Notre séjour à Aigues Mortes était un vrai régal. Nous avons été accueillis comme des rois par Patricia et Jean Charles. Et que de délicates attentions, dès notre arrivée mais aussi tout au long de nos vacances. Des hôtes chaleureux, très humains, à l'écoute et tellement sensibles au bien être des autres. Ils ont été également très gentils envers notre petit qui a été plus que gâté (cookies, confiture, crêpes, le tout maison ...) ! Rien à dire sur le logement tant il est impeccable, propre, lumineux, au calme, très bien équipé. La ville d'Aigues Mortes est très charmante, nous avons apprécié son marché (à 400m du logement), son centre ville à l'intérieur des remparts historiques, son petit train touristique idéal pour petits et grands, et elle est assez proche des plages de l'espiguette, de la grande motte ou encore du grau du roi. Il y a de quoi faire dans ce beau coin de France! Bref, super séjour, nous recommandons! Et un tout grand merci à patricia et Jean Charles pour leur gentillesse et leur authenticité.
