Excellent in every area. Highly recommend this hotel to any one who is trying to visit Agra and see Taj Mahal.

great

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The room was clean and housekeeping was great. Breakfast was very limited and service in the bar and restaurant could definitely be improved. Biggest issue we had was noise from the rooftop bar/restaurant over our room. The music could be heard until midnight. There was also noise coming from above that started around 6:30-7, so sleep was an issue.

Hospitality was great!

All hotels in Agra need to make money with weddings to make up for lost business revenues. Though it was frustrating not to sleep for a few nights, the hotel service itself was not bad and food was good. Location is great. Management really and kindly took the time to apologize. Some really good staff members there. Just make sure you get a room as far away from the banquet hall as possible. I can’t delete the more “unhappy” review I posted previously.

I’m doing this review fresh since it’s 1:25 am on a Sunday night, and there’s been long banging music for the last four hours, just like the other three nights I’ve been here. I called at 1 and mentioned it to them. They said they would speak to the banquet team to turn it down a bit. I think they turned it up instead. Rooms are worn out, there are stains on the rug, random people ring my bell at night. The first night the restaurant was good. The next day food was still average. I noticed the mattresses by the pool were disgusting, there was about 16 square feet of cookies that a kid was eating off the floor. Between two bosses, three waiters and three pool staff for one client (me) no one cleaned it for three hours until I stepped into it and asked them too. There was banana on the deck too which no one cleaned. My first pool towel had a huge stain on it. Front desk staff are friendly and good. The breakfast is decent. There is a very good restaurant (Royal something or another) that is really good. Hotel is a 30 minute walk to the Taj Mahal. I haven’t seen any foreigners in this hotel. I think it’s just a place Indians have weddings. Terribly managed hotel. I can’t believe that Taj is a competitor to Oberoi (where I stayed in Delhi and it was beyond EXCELLENT). Just a 1990s relic but I guess they rake it in on the weddings. Wish I weren’t too lazy to move to another hotel.

It was adequate. The hotel is not particularly elegant considering it is a Taj property. However, the rate was good.

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out everything was outstanding. Great staff- friendly, helpful and efficient. I asked to get an adaptor to charge my phone and they were there right away. I had the best time at this hotel Fantastic rooftop with amazing atmosphere :)

The nicest hotel we stayed at during our 8 days in India. Incredible staff (great Taj Mahal story/song on the history of the Taj Mahal—given by a very charming member), rooftop pool with view of the Taj Mahal was excellent and food was good but a bit on the expensive side, bedroom was very nice (3rd floor), breakfast every morning was wonderful, and lots of wonderful entertainment at hotel (nightly live music, drinks and billiards, and some small shops. The view from the rooftop pool is the highlight of the hotel.

The staff is really nice and helpful, that can make a huge difference in your stay no matter how expensive the room. I'll definitely be back.

The stay began with checkin staff who were not welcoming and were in fact very rude. In spite of all details having been given provided online during our online booking the the checkin took 30 minutes. The staff seemed confused by the entire checkin process and made it unnecessarily stressful. When dining in the main restaurant for dinner the manager placed us outside restaurant in the corridor in spite of the restaurant being empty. He then proceeded to give menus to both male guests leaving the female guest without a menu. He then ignored her request for a menu. Very bad experience.

Very eloquent hotel in the middle of deprived Agra. Great location for visiting the Taj, but woeful hotel. Checked in with eight people, took 40 mins and still wasn't completed correctly. Was told on multiple occassions I wasn't staying in my room, and was asked to produce ID and said I was lying. Cutlery was dirty in the restaurant and females weren't given a menu. I'm glad the Taj was incredible!

We had a wonderful stay here. Great staff at front desk & restaurants. We really have to mention Mashesh Sharma's name (front desk) . he greeted us so warmly & greatly. He arranged a surprise room decoration & cake for us! Amazing customer service. We will love to come back here.

Good hotel for visiting the Taj. Food was good but a bit expensive.

Extremely helpful staff and well maintained facilities, but dining options are expensive.

The hotel was well-decorated and clean. It is walking distance from the Taj Mahal.

Hotel a nice, relatively new facility with very polite and professional staff. The location, while close to the East gate of the Taj Mahal, is not close to much else - either shopping wise or other types of things to visit - e.g. restaurants, shops etc. close,

Quality Hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. Great pool. Food prices a bit high even for a 5-star hotel. Security seemed a bit overdone. Excellent upgraded room for a great price. Free shuttle (need to tip him) to the Taj but nowhere else. Location a bit remote and nothing around the hotel. A good place to relax and see the Taj Mahal after a long trip.

This is a fine hotel for India. The walk to the Taj is about 20 minutes long. The staff is TOP RATE, but the internet connection is pretty slow, my only review downside.

Location is close to Taj Mahal and is in relatively good neighborhood. Staff appeared very helpful and room is pristine w/ very good decor and lighting. The restaurant offers a decent menu selection and food is well prepared.
