Asked us to check out early??? Because they had a big group coming in early. It’s a lovely older hotel and well maintained. Not as nice as other 5 star hotels.

It was a good deal at under $30/night, very walkable to train station. Area is a bit grim though, and ubers will not be excited to go there. It's a confusing hotel, I ended up at gold regency because it's the same thing? I don't think "gold the royal" actually exists with that name. Room service food was good, and not too expensive, other than that there's just a kind of grim bar on the ground floor. Overall it was fine though as a base for seeing Delhi and surroundings.

Very good hotel for the price and popular location. The staffs were friendly and rooms are centrally air conditioned. Closer to the popular shopping areas. I would definitely book again
