Not really, but good enough. The stairs were challenging at 72 and 75 yo. View was lovely. If we come again might go on first floor. Meal in restaurant was lovely.

We arrived really late from airport to a motel that was locked/closed at the front door. We managed to call the front desk and were directed to their gaming room for check-in. We do know this is an older motel. It is our fault that we did not know there is no lift. The bed was decent comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfasts on both mornings which was at the bar areas, instead of the restaurant. I can deal with an older motel but the room itself - The insides of closet was dusty and the kettle has seen better days. The kettle was 1/2 full with water when I checked on it. No, I never use hotels' kettles but I was just curious!

Room cleaning was fabulous every day Lovely location for pier Lovely decor and beach / sunset views from the room Staff very friendly Excellent restaurant and bar food We stayed late in bar only 10 pm and had to leave the building (previously we just went straight onto the staircase to get to our room) told to enter again but failed to get in only to end back at the bar The bar staff were very helpful We were on the top floor which had 4 very long flights of stairs ( high ceilings) being a heritage hotel there were no lifts We managed but I could imagine many would struggle Very lovely young man carried our bags up without even breaking a sweat 😅 Coming from England for 6 weeks our bags were very heavy!!

Wonderfull Stay

Checked in to find that we had been upgraded from what would have been a very good room to the ‘Room 1’ Heritage Deluxe Room which had an even bigger Spa bath and the best of views. Dinner at the hotel was good, staff professional and helpful. Will be back.
