They didn’t provide shuttle, no internet, not even toilet paper was provided. They forced me to pay cash even I showed them my receipt from Expedia and made me delayed my flight.

Worse possible stay for the price in Addis. No water one day. No lights in room on second stay. Moved to another room and no hot water and toilet wouldn't flush. Cancelled extra rooms early but would give no refund and tried to make me pay twice for rooms I paid for on Expedia. Terrible place would not recommend to anyone. Told them I was going to give a bad review and they couldn't care less.

Excellent Hotel - Value for Money

The stay at Edna Addis was a very satisfying. The service can be rated as excellent. The staff is always ready to help even going out of their way if needed. The rooms are clean and in very good condition. The restaurant services good food at very economical price. The staff ensures arranging Taxi for travel. Hotel shuttle service is also available for Airport pickup and drop which was very helpful.

I stayed at Edna Addis twice recently and I want to commend the staff for being so helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, and the food in the restaurant, which was very good, was served promptly. Considering the excellent service, the price is modest. One suggestion and one concern. Either the curtains in the rooms need to be much darker, or a policy about the hall lights needs to be enforced. I switched them off on a couple of occasions when trying to sleep but someone switched them back on. The other thing is the noise. Guests in the room next door were quite noisy from 3-4 a.m. for some unknown reason, and the dogs on the nearby street make quite a noise early in the morning. Obviously the hotel can't do much about the dogs, but guests can be asked to be more considerate of other guests during the night.

Nice Hotel

I stayed for 2 weeks at Edna hotel and I can say that my room was very tidy and clean all the time , I enjoyed breakfast buffet and 24 hrs bar servce delivering quality traditional food for all its customers . ,Above all, polite and professional the hotel staff members. I strongly recommend other to use this hotel.

Good Value for Money 3.5

3.5 I would recommend Edna for value. It is not as nice as the top hotels in Addis, most of which I have tried, but is also significantly cheaper. It was clean overall but a little rough around the edges. Food was good and friendly, helpful service. I would stay here again for a hotel in this price point but for business I will probably splurge and go to a slightly nicer hotel.

Unheathy Reception at Edna Hotel Addis

We were at the hotel as a team of 8 people. The hotel is a fraudulent one. Extremely bad management and we realized that the manager at the time we visited the hotel for UN Conference between on the 11th of July lacks managerial technical know-how as her statements are grossly unreliable, unethical and unhealthy. We got to the hotel on 11th and taken to another hotel to spend a day in 3rooms while we made reservation for 6 rooms and to come back the next day because of a minor maintenance, on getting back we were told that they are not receiving us again that they have got to make arrangement for us before at another place without telling us and we have paid since six weeks and they did not inform us that they cannot receive us. when making the booking they promised 24hrs internet and we were eventually taken to a place that we were completely cut off from the world as we had no internet. In a nutshell,we cannot recommend Edna Hotel Addis to our enemy to stay.

Great hotel with comfortable transportation

I stayed at Edna Addis Hotel for 3 weeks. The staff were so friendly and respectful people. Everyone work together to get what you need. The only issue I have was the internet connection. Other than that everything went well at Edna Addis Hotel.

Excellent value for money

I spent three weeks in the Edna Addis. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I had little problem communicating. I had a large bed in a very spacious and quiet room. The lounge/dining room is very good for eating, taking snacks and working on the computer. WIFI worked OK, though I occasionally had to move around a bit, or wait for a later hour, to get a good signal.

Nice hotel in Edna area of Addis.

The hotel staff was great and very accommodating! We had paid an extra person fee with our online reservation so they moved an entire third bed complete with box spring and mattress into our room! The only negative is that the location could be in a more central area, but there was a complimentary airport shuttle and the staff helped connect us with a good taxi driver. The free breakfast was delicious! We very much enjoyed our stay at Edna Addis.

There was no Wifi at all excuse given that it was a problem throughout Addis I went to the nearest internet cafe and the connection was perfect There were no TV channels only 2 local channels There was no hot water morning and night The towel given to me was full of holes and of a very rough material The breakfast food was cold They did offer a free shuttle service to airport Tourist information was inadequate and incorrect I was quoted a very high price for a taxi by hotel management and was told that was a fair price but negotiated one myself at a lower price

Greeting and transfer from the airport where fantastic. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. However, the lights in the bathroom never turned off and it also had a lingering smell of sewage. We had luke warm showers and the tv never worked properly. Overall it sufficed for a few hours on our way to the airport, but we would not have wanted to stay longer unless those issues were resolved- especially the hot water
