I got a corner room that was small cramped, with columns protruding from the wall. The room was also smelling damp probably due to leaking taps and showers. The shower was not working and had to use a bucket. No complimentary breakfast and the food available in the restaurant was crap. No value for money
I stayed here for 1 night between flights in May 2019. The room was clean with a small bathroom and air con. The window could also be opened. There are no toiletries in the bathroom, just soap and no hairdryer. A small shower cubicle with a decent shower. There was a tv, wardrobe and a safe. There is also a small pool with loungers, a gym and a restaurant and pastry cafe. The food in the restaurant was really tasty though not much atmosphere in there. I booked airport transfer through the hotel also. They took a while confirming the booking but the driver was there waiting for me with a sign. Reception staff helpful and friendly. So all good. I would stay again.
This hotel was selected by my company, and apparently I'm not the first of our staff to complain about it. The staff was very nice (as many have said), but no nicer than any other Nigerians I met on my stay. The room was quiet... it has a double entry door, so you can't hear any hallway sounds. The wifi was good -- for Nigeria -- although some days annoying to log onto. Those are the good bits. I like a hard bed, but the bed was so hard that some nights I would wake up with pins-and-needles in my shoulder where the circulation had been cut off. The bathroom looked like it came from the set of a movie... except it was the "about to be demolished house". AND the lights were just terrible... that was true of the whole hotel... it just felt dreary. Almost no natural light, and neon used to light the dark corners, so everything looked a bit dingy. Breakfast was ok, but never really changed for the week I was there, so it got a bit dull. Fresh fruit was watermelon every. single. morning. I got a funny tummy after eating dinner there the second night, so didn't eat an evening meal there again during my stay... but there are so many good restaurants in Abuja, you really don't need to. The first night I had room service... a burger, which was actually delicious. But they wanted me to pay cash for it in my room. In 20+ years of business travel, I have never been asked to pay cash in my room for room service. It felt seedy. I convinced them to let me pay at the desk the next morning, but they were unhappy about it. So I never ordered room service again... but the dining room is depressing at night (no natural light, that dreary neon... And then the funny tummy... that's why I ate out the rest of my stay, although I would have preferred to get straight back to work at my desk. I'll be back to Abuja in July. I really hope my office has added some new places to the preferred hotel list...
Very good and quite interesting but might still need work on the front door they need a doorman there and need more people for room service. Thanks enjoyed my stay in a deluxe room with my son and my husband might come back soon
Quiet environment, moderate prices, good location, the decor not so impressive. time for an upgrade. For a hotel with that size, the gym room is okay and the price for walk ins too most especially their instructors, they have a sense of what they are doing
First hotel stayed at in Nigeria and I was somewhat impressed. The hotel makes an effort where it lacks in style. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, but the washrooms could use some upgrades. Surprisingly there is a nice small pool which is clean. The bar is fine.
I spent only a night here or part of it, waiting for my flight back to UK on early morning. Very good service and big comfy room, a little less impressed by the bathroom as the sink was leaking and the boiler was not working properly. Nice and efficient room service and good restaurant selection.
The rooms are roomy(!) and very clean with the expected facilities such as cable TV and air-con, not forgetting good wireless. The best quality of this hotel was the excellent service where everybody from the doorman to the front desk, cleaners and everybody else tried their very best to please you. The included breakfast was great and the restaurant had a fair choice on the menu. There was a good gym and a nice pool if you do not mind possible stares from the nearby bar. I have no opinion on the location as you need transport wherever you stay in Abuja. Summing up I can heartily recommend this hotel which I found to be very good value for money.
A nice atmosphere awaits one in the hotel. It is a beautiful place to stay with spacious, clean rooms and all amenities. Fast wifi is included. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room rates are just great.
My room in 3J's Abuja was pretty basic. The bed was big, nice, mattress firm, the way I like it. The room was clean, although the bathroom is fairly cramped and smelly - poor ventilation. The air conditioner worked, excellent in the 37C weather. The backup generators works all the time. I arrived from London very early. The breakfast buffet was good, nothing fancy, but, good. The staff were friendly, and, once they knew you, the staff were extremely accommodatiing. The hotel is a little island in Abuja - once accepted as a resident, everyone was very friendly and helpful, from the desk staff to the restaurant. It is pretty basic, but, good for the business traveller. Give it a chance and it grows on you. The food is pretty good in the restaurant. The bar is nice. Would definitely go back for another stay.
