Unfortunately, our expectations for this St. Regis were not met. Upon check-in, we went straight to the private resort beach, which offers beachside service—but drinks often took 45 minutes to arrive, and sometimes only part of the order was delivered. Overall, we found the staff to be slow and inattentive to detail. The property itself is in need of renovation and updating; our suite felt outdated, and housekeeping skipped standard touches such as turndown service and thorough daily cleaning. While the breakfast buffet looked impressive, the food was average at best, and service remained slow. For example, our simple egg order took 25 minutes to arrive. I had also contacted the hotel in advance to inform them that we were celebrating our honeymoon, but I never received a response. Ultimately, we cut our stay short because the beach service, breakfast experience, and overall atmosphere did not live up to the level of excellence we’ve come to expect from St. Regis. On a positive note, the manager was very kind and accommodating when we shared our concerns, but unfortunately, this stay did not reflect the typical St. Regis standard.

The St. Regis is a stunningly beautiful and luxurious hotel. The bedding and ammenities are wonderful and the breakfast buffett delicious with plentiful choices. The staff is friendly, helpful and kind. Always striving to find ways to make our stay even more memorable. The hotel exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect setting to celebrate our weddding anniversary. From the balloons and delicious chocolate cake on arrival to our room, to the excellent butler service, we could not have asked for more. Thank you St. Regis. We will definitely be returning!
