Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate

We stayed for 2 nights on a family weekend trip to Abu Dhabi. Having stayed at other hotels in the city, the whole experience exceeded our expectations for a 4-star hotel in Abu Dhabi. The reception staff was polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and breakfast had a lot of choices. We highly recommend this hotel for a weekend visit.

I’m from America visiting the UAE. This hotel is amazing! I stopped at the hotel for a small brunch and enjoyed a coffee and sandwich by the water. It was awesome to see how kind they treat the animals, and to see that they really care for them. I’m a huge animal lover, and have noticed there are lots of stray cats in Abu Dhabi. The Novotel has set up a feeding station to help these guys out. They have teamed up with a group, “Animal Welfare Abu Dhabi” and it really warms my heart to see that kind of compassion for our furry friends. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a kind and empathetic staff!

my family and i stayed at this hotel for two nights during December and unfortunately , i believe it will be my last , first of all the location is not convenient at all , its more or less away from any major attraction , rooms are very basic , the AC in our suite was a bit noisy , service and staff are not friendly , the breakfast area is jammed and obviously needs more seating , even they mixed up my reservation which was done on line through the ACCOR website , and as a Platinum member , i usually receive some special treatment in most of the Accor hotels i stay in , but this one was an exception , the staff need further training on how to be more hospitable and nice

Great service. The staff is excellent, specially front desk and concierge desk. Close to airport so convenient after a long flight. Not many choices for food though. You need to take a taxi if you don’t want to eat at hotel. Though taxi is cheap in UAE so why not stay at a place where service is excellent?

We are from Ras Al Khaimah and to drive 3 hours to stay in a hotel is quiet a feat but this place is worth it. The staff are attentive and helpful. They have a nice pool which my kids enjoyed in. Food was good. Room was clean and you feel right at home. It was a nice weekend rest and we would love to do the long drive again just to come back.

Stayed for a week. It is an ok hotel, nothing special, however was relatively affordable with the F1 on in town. Rooms are on the small side. Bathroom had a good shower! Breakfast buffet is ok, doesn’t change much from day to day so it’s easy to tire of it quickly. Quality of food was fine. Pool area is ok, not a big pool but it does have a reasonable number of sun lounges to use. There is nothing local to walk to, see or do. It’s a 20km to 30km taxi ride to just about anywhere, for about 60AED and taxis are easy to get out the front door. Do note, it’s currently in the middle of a big construction area, completely surrounded, and I don’t recall seeing that on the web site for the hotel when checking it out. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here on a stop over for three nights on our way to New Zealand, we have no complaints about the hotel in general at all everything was fantastic until we were checking out and was told that we owed over 1000 durams for the upgrade of our room. When we arrived at check in, totally tired out from the travel, the guy on reception said to us that he would upgrade the stay on his own authority, free of charge. We, not really understanding what he meant, and only really wanting to get to bed just took the keys and said thank you very much, not realising that it was a room upgrade and not knowing what a standard room looked like, and not really caring, just accepted it. What we did not know either is, that the staff get a bonus for getting a customer upgrade. On leaving of course an argument took place and eventually the hotel backed down and we did not pay the extra. Just be aware of what they are actually offering and is it going to cost you !

We stayed over for a week. The room was clean & pleasant. Staff was really helpful & friendly. Special Thanks to Soleh at the Concierge who helped me with many info & personalised service. Breakfast choices was excellent. Room was prompt cleaned daily. Keep up the good work. Well done to the team.

Again- my stay at the Novtel was excellent- thanks to the housekeeping staff lead by Ms Thin - also the reception[Ms Bevely} gym and breakfast staff as usual were very helpful and courteous. The pool was heated to enjoy a nice swim in the local "winter" The road works outside are a bit of an issue but hopefully this should be completed soon- looking forward to my next stay here
