It is expected that people will be busy coz its a holiday but they already know it and they should have been prepared..checked in dec 30th and stayed till new year. No welcome drinks nor greetings coz "they are busy". Checked in @ around 4pm..*tip: you can check in at the Apartments reception instead of the hotel reception, so check in was fast.no bellboys to ask or even assist you when going to your room. keycards dont usually work.first was on the elevator, had to go back to update card then in the room, lights went on and off. Good we asked for another card coz initially we were given 1.had to replace keycard slot most of the time for the lights to stay on..requested baby cot which came after an hour or so..we had to call again to remind them..superior room was small..room tablet on the side table to control lights and AC was not working. TV when turned on for more than an hour would.sound terribly bad. 1 tissue box provided which was on a tissue holder full of dust. bathroom was spacious.faucet was wiped but you can still see grimes on some parts..dental kits/grooming kits have to be requested. Pool just was fine..located at 31st floor.not too crowded and not that big also. Small round kiddie pool for the kids..pool bar that serves drinks. Breakfast- good. But the baby chairs are filthy..not just dirty but filthy..including dish away cart where they parade infront of you...ewww.really dirty..mall was connected to the hotel..just need to walk past parking area and had to go around pushing the stroller coz if you go straight, you'll have to pass 2 stairs going down 1 level and up..requested late check out, 1pm was the latest they could give..if not for the fireworks that we saw at our room, i would have been terribly disappointed..overall, not really impressed..
The rating of this hotel could be higher if not for a terrible restaurant inside, called Al Wahda All Day Dining that is really a highway robbery. The quality of food is very low, the service unacceptable and the bill incredibly overpriced. Beside this the hotel is a good one with good quality of rest
Excellent service from Mr Ramish in the reception who gave us a very good rate , hotel very nice and good value for many. I recommend for families since rooms and so big. Just one comment the master bed room toilet should have water for WC
The staff was not accomodating, only gave us one key even though we are two people staying, asked for a vanity kit and a toothbrush, the staff came with the vanity kit only because he said that that’s the only message he got, and he never came back with the toothbrush, bathtub had 2 pieces of pubic hair when we got in. Had to reset my wifi password 2 times to make it work.
The quality of the international buffet restaurant is the poorest in 5* hotel in Abu Dhabi, and also due to the excessive one time tourist, heartful service is not made at the restaurant. The fitness gym is the greatest in 5* hotel in Abu Dhabi.
I have been staying for the past 2 years in hotel apartments side. For the last one year, the treatment to the apartments is like step mother. The toilet items like soaps, body lotions, tissues are very poor quality. I started using my own soaps, own body lotion, may be I have to start buying tissues of my own. Appears poor quality started due to cost cutting measures. Why I have been continuing, location is good, staff are good, outside ambiance good.
Excellent experience , high level hotel and great location in a big mall. Perfect for family and business. Very nice property in a nice quarter. Room big and cibfortable. Only bad thing: internet for only 3 devices!
Very nice large rooms.. quality/price wise is perfect, friendly staff overall .. however faced many challenges during my stay; I was literally treated as a criminal for a simple call I wanted to make to a local mobile number from the room..i was not informed about any hotel outlets on check in, only about the all day dining restaurant because i was up sold to breakfast.. housekeeping did many mistakes that aren’t supposed to happen in such a hotel.. there was always something missing or not replaced; not to mention I found a dirty towel on top of my clothes.. breakfast was so poor as well. Other than that all was ok, special mention to abiq for his hospitality and taking seriously my concerns.. and also to the Moroccan gentleman - can’t remember his name- who works in the afternoon for being courteous and flexible. If I was a mystery shopper, the scores would have been terrible!
Good hotel - near a big Mall and Bus station. Breakfast spread good. The complementary Internet is good, but not very good for a whatsapp call....incoming speech is good. But your voice upload is not good.
I thing the provided facility in Grand Millennium hotel is average, I justed to improve Quality and quantity of food, provide sports facility like snooker club, ball room others indoor games. Pillow should be medicated like hard. Food should be serve in rooms.
- Free WiFi and wired Internet in rooms and public areas
- Free valet parking
- Onsite dining
