Hotel was hard to fault - great service, nice rooms and very well kept. Only two reservations. Firstly we went for a swim in the hotel pool and my wife, who was dressed in a one-piece that at home (Australia) would be regarded as quite conservative, was told to "cover up" as she was getting out of the pool and before she had a chance to dry off and put clothes on. I'm not sure if that is any fault in the part of the hotel but she did feel uncomfortable for the whole visit and after that she didn't want to leave the hotel room. Also room service was quite expensive. There was only one white wine available by the glass of the several advertised and it was very expensive, about $20 (AUD) for a glass allowing for 10% service and taxes.
* Price was super low compared to other hotels. * Breakfast options were good. * Person at reception didn't provide a receipt, I literally had to ask for one. * Room wasn't tidy. * Toiletries weren't provided in the room.
Overall, the hotel is very good. But the parking service need to be improved. The hotel is connected to Al wahda mall which is shall be comfortable specially for families with kids. The staff are helpful also.
Staff were very good and efficient. Checking in took no time at all. At checking out, was asked if I had emptied the safe - I hadn't, so grateful for the reminder. No problems with getting the car back from the valets. Al Wahda mall is next door to the hotel.
Not bad hotel because it located in downtown ,But when you make comparative between price and hotel level you will see it is expensive. The empoloyes are friendly ,the rooms are clean. No entertainment except a pool.
THIS ROOM IS VERY QUAY AND COME MY MAIN FOR RELAXATION BATHROOM IS VERY CLEAN SWIMMING POOL GOOD BUT I DON'T KNOW WHY OPEN AREA NOT ALLOWED FOR SMOKING ... AND LAST HAVE VERY GOOD MASSAGE ROOM According to a recent MSNBC poll, 86% of respondents use travel sites to gauge traveler sentiment before they make their accommodation choice. So the more reviews you have, the better. Responding to reviews is key, too: a recent TripAdvisor survey found 76% of travelers think more positively about owners who find the time to reply
As mentioned in my other review. The reception staff are excellent. The breakfast was good with adequate choices. Some of the staff should be trained to smile to the customer ( particularly the live cooking station). However, whilst i do understand that the hotel has to control cost, the amenities provided are not adequate for a 5 star hotel. The housekeeping personnel should be further trained (i do not want to go into the details again). One of the valet parking personnel on the last day when i checked out with my family did not even greet us (probably tired or had some other issue) . Sadly enough, that was the last experience I would remember from this hotel. I chose this hotel for practical reason. However, i would think twice before using this facility again.
A big disappointment to pay for a stay with an unsupportive staff , unclean room and bathroom. The kitchen policy states not to clean the dishes and they don't also provide cleaning kit which doesn't make any sense. The bathroom has bad smell from the shower room ( sewer smell)
i was waiting for my car outside with my friend this is when the bellboy pointed at my ears and started to laugh ( im disable person with hearing aid ) i never had this issue in uae since im local person and i never had such an incidents when my friend talked to him he said he wasn't pointing at me and he was talking about something else then my friend talked to the duty manager they didnt actully show any respect and the only thing they said we are sorry and we have a handicapped facility if you wish to use it !!
The room is a little bit small and the food in the restaurant is so expensive. On the other side the location is great which is next to alwahda mall and the in the middle of Abu Dhabi. Also, it's next to the bus station
