Our extended family stayed for 4 nights in December (pre Christmas) for what was without the doubt the most incredible and luxurious hotel stay of our lives. There is little more that I can personally add to the many hundreds of 5-star reviews already posted, other than to say that this beautiful, opulent and magnificent hotel lived up to and exceeded every expectation. We had three rooms and were lucky enough to be upgraded so my Wife, two children and I were blessed with the most enormous and luxurious 3 room 'Palace Suite'. We have never experienced a room or service like it and that is from a well-travelled family who have been fortunate enough to stay in many top hotels. The Palace Suites are housed in the main, central section of the palace (and it really is a palace!). We hardly ever saw anyone else in this section, despite the hotel apparently being full. We never shared an elevator with anyone else either. The service from start to finish was incredible and unmatched by any other hotel we have ever stayed in. The facilities are wonderful and everything is presented perfectly. The Christmas (Yes, Christmas!) decorations were awesome and our children were hugely chuffed to meet Father Christmas on his evening visits. The cappuccino with real gold flakes was an experience in itself. Paddle boarding off the private beach was a special moment with the grandeur of our stunning hotel as the backdrop. The family pool is brilliant and attention to detail is everywhere. We dined one evening on the beach at BBQ Al Qasr which has to be experienced to be believed. It was a unique and unforgettable experience with incredible food, drink and service. Drinks after in the adjacent Breeze Bar were the icing on the cake. I cannot find a single thing to criticise and we already have plans to return in the next year or so. A huge thank you to every single member of staff for making our pre-Christmas stay such a luxurious and memorable one. I now realise why many people rate Emirates Palace as the best hotel in the world.
Third time in the hotel and always an outstanding experience. The restaurants, the service and hospitality... all have been outstanding. Butler Rolex has been very good to the kids. Keep up the good work.
My husband and I together with our daughters have just returned from a magnificent 8 nights at this beautiful hotel. We stayed in a khaleej suite which was huge and decorated in a highly tasteful manor. There was more than enough room for 2 beds to be placed in the lounge area for my daughters, without the slightest feeling of being cramped. Very big bathroom and cloakroom via living room gave us all ample room. Our suite had a stunning view overlooking the beach and Sheikh's palace. We did have to call to request an iron which I would have expected as standard. Also as other travellers mentioned there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which I really think the hotel should review. We stayed during the Christmas period which also fell in line with my daughter's birthday. Our lovely butler Jashim organised a personalised banner and cake to celebrate our youngest' s birthday which she was over the moon about. Over our stay we spent time at the West wing pool which had great water slides in the kids pool and a lazy river. Lifeguards present at all pools so it felt safe while the kids played. Most days we had lunch at Cascades which was the pool side restaurant. All food was fresh, nicely presented and tasty. There was a kids club here but my kids didn't go as it seemed pretty quiet most days with not too much going on. We were on a half board basis Therefore the buffet restaurant (Le Vendome) the Italian ( Mezzaluna) and Emirati restaurant (Mezlai) were included in our package. We mostly ate at the Italian and buffet. Both were pretty decent although I would suggest that Le Vendome should have a change in the dishes offered from lunch to dinner. On our last day we found it was exactly the same offering both times. It would also be nice to have a pasta or noodle station possibly pizza on occasional nights to mix things up and have a few more child friendly options. Alcohol was very expensive which we were aware of having been to Dubai numerous times. We did try the Lebanese (Mawal) one night. Food was nice but rather pricey. We had Christmas Day brunch at Le Vendome which was an additional charge as not included in half board. Food was great and the kids got a personal visit from Santa which was a lovely touch. We also took advantage of the free camel ride on the beach which we all loved. Overall the service we received was impeccable and has set a very high bar for future hotels we stay at. The hotel and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Although you must beware of the fact that you will be amongst many tourists visiting the hotel as it is a major attraction. If you are planning on having a drink on the lobby you will mostly be surrounded by tourists. This is also the reason why there are many security guards around the main hotel and on a couple of occasions were asked if we were guests at the hotel which didn't bother us. By the end of our stay many of them became familiar faces. I would like to thank Emirates Palace for a truly wonderful and memorable stay! We were extremely sorry to leave and hope we will be back soon!
I enjoyed one week at the Emirates Palace traveling by myself. My room with a small garden was located in the east wing of the property. I especially asked for a quiet room. The receptionist recommended the east wing as the kids and slip pool is located at the west wing. The butler was very service orientated (actually it’s nice to have a butler but I never ask for help). The room design is very nice. The iPad helps you to control light, order room service and many more. The view from my terrace with garden was amazing. I didn’t need an alarm clock as the birds singing did wake me up very smooth. Breakfast was amazing. Great attentive service! I enjoyed windsurfing and stand up paddling in front of the hotel. The briefing by the gentleman of the water sports booth was very friendly. All over: You can feel that the staff is proud to work for this hotel! The property itself is stunning. No words can explain! Only one negative comment: The room service pizza is not what you expect when you sleep at this hotel.
Do you know, that to get a coffee you would have to wait in line for a table in the lobby for like 30 minutes? How do you like that kind of luxury? That is the most stupid situation a person can get in, paying over a $1000 a night for a room.
The service here is flawless, and the decor grandiose. This hotel exudes pure opulence and extravagance. This hotel, is luxury. That being said, It does feel a little like a night at the museum. In the two evenings we were there - we would roam the long, never-ending marble lined halls looking for restaurants or the pool or...just a way out? And would not find a single soul to pass by. We dined at one of the restaurants that evening on premise and were only joined by 2 other couples at prime dinner hour. It was not a negative thing at all but it does indeed feel a little eerie. The grandiose facade of this building with the ghost-town feel of it all (deep in the guest corridors, past the buzzing lobby) is quite an interesting phenomenon. As someone who takes pleasures in new experiences, I won't say I regret this choice of hotel but it indeed will forever be one of my more intriguing travel stories I tell. A giant, beautiful building with heavy security, lots of tourists, and many common areas - that houses guest corridors which seem to keep secrets of their own in their quiet nature.... very unique to say the least. I would stay a night just to experience what I mean, but other than that - I will regretfully, in my personal opinion, not return. It saddens me to give less than glowing reviews (this may be one of my only ones) but I feel as though it is my duty to be honest. This hotel is wonderful - but not for everyone.
Even though we were in an Arab Centre the Christmas tree and atmosphere was outstanding. We had camel milk coffee and gold dusted coffee and a camel meat hamburger. There were Emirati as well as tourists. It was an amazing experience in opulence.
We just stayed at the Emirates Palace for 3 nights. I must say every corner of the palace immaculate. The amenities at the hotel are absolutely brilliant i.e. Beach, kids club, pool, etc. Anyone looking for privacy must stay here as most areas of the hotel are for inhouse residents only. The only experience i did not like is the attitude of the staff at the breakfast. They were not polite and i overheard a staff complain as we were at the breakfast table for 1 and a half hour. Will definitely plan another stay at this hotel. MSD
Excellent stay in the Emirates Place over the Christmas. Staff were superb. Rooms were excellent. The food was quality all the way. Beach and facilities just brilliant. You are paying top dollar though. 4 hot chocolates was AED163 (€38), but sure look who wants hot chocolate in the desert :-). Would definitely return.
Stayed on Yas Island but went here for Friday brunch - it cost £90 each but was well worth it. The buffet is all set up outside by the pools - there were lots of different 'drink' stations where the staff would take orders and fetch drinks or you could get your own. Various eating areas with absolutely loads of choice- there were eight of us and everything we had was great. We had a look around the hotel before we went to the brunch - this is a fantastic place. There was a live act on at the brunch, t hey were great and it made for a brilliant and relaxed atmosphere - you must try this !!!
