We really enjoyed our stay here at Danat. There is lot of stuff for couples, family, etc. I appreciate the good hospitality and housekeeping provided by Annu. The food is delicious and economical. A. Nazir
Went last week to Oasis cafe which is located inside the resort. Good ambience, lounge music, nice food... Only one thing disappoint us. We were waiting for the simple cheesecake almost one hour and the outlet was not very busy. But manager (or outlet supervisor) Karim were so polite and attentive. He apologized and even provided to us some complimentary food. That's was very sweet from him.
The Hotel is beautiful, the staff is very helpful. The hospitality was amazing and the atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful. It was nice to stay somewhere that made me feel at home even though I was thousands of kilometers away. Thanks to Ganesh, my room was always clean and comfortable and he was always nice and supportive. The transport to the center of the town is easy. My stay here was definitely one to remember and I won't ever hesitate to recommend this hotel to friend's.
A friend and I wanted a quick get away and booked an all inclusive with the Danat Al Ain. Our expectations were not exceptional high but we had a really great time. Some areas of the hotel do look a little tired but the check in experience, pool bar service and generally our stay was lovely. We dined at both pool side and at the Indian restaurant inside and both times the food was good. However the waiter, Deepak in the Indian restaurant was exceptional he could not of been more helpful and I really just have to say he made our stay. The food was excellent too. Anyone one looking for a wee reasonably priced get away should give it a go.
I absolutely loved Danat Al ain Resort, I was blown away by their service and the Manager (Ameer) was so accommodating. We arrived before check-in time and thought we would need to wait but he managed to get us into our rooms earlier than expected. We opted for the all-inclusive package which was great value for money. The food was lovely and the all-you-can-eat buffet by the pool had a great selection, we were definitely satisfied with all the options. Overall; the room was great, the atmosphere was wonderful and the shisha was an added bonus at the end of a long day swimming and lounging by the pool. Thank you to all the Danat Al Ain Resort staff, you were all fantastic and we will definitely be seeing you again.
I would like to make a comment about the quality of the cleaning services and in particular for Mr. Ganesh who he is responsible for cleaning my room. For the time period that I have been staying in Danat hotel his job has been excellent and he has been always more than willing to go the extra mile and help me with whatever I have needed. The services by Mr. Ganesh are outstanding and he can be a good reason of returning to the Danat hotel having in mind that the quality of the services are at the high standards that Mr. Ganesh has set.
Stayed from Thursday to Saturday on an all inclusive basis. Older property but well maintained and parking easy. Bit disappointed that the room we checked into hadn’t been cleaned properly (peanuts on the floor). However it was sorted quickly. Never understand why the number of towels are insufficient when the reservation was for 4 people in total but this is quite a common thing. Great Indian restaurant and buffet restaurant option ok. Odd from an all inclusive option that potential visitors should be aware of - separate menus for all inclusive clients and coffee shop included certain things free but others were at cost. Unusual aspect to keep checking what was included and what wasn’t. The most annoying thing however is that every time you eat or drink you have to sign bills and give your room number - service charge was quoted on some of these (can only be an internal accounting thing). It leaves you uneasy though that despite checking it was included in the all inclusive deal, they would try and charge something on check out (they didn’t). Annoying that children aren’t allowed to swim lengths in the large pool - 16 year age minimum and strictly enforced. Should be more on swimming ability and desire to swim rather than play. All in all a good stay and hope to revisit despite niggling issues from this visit
With so many great five star hotels in the UAE, I have to agree with other reviewers that this hotel isn’t, possibly, five star but four. And I only say that because it is a little dated in the communal areas and bathrooms. However, that been said it is a fantastic hotel and well worth a visit. The outside pool and gardens are lovely! And the staff some of the friendliest we’ve ever had during a stay away, nothing was too much trouble. Our boys loved the swimming pools! There’s a small slide into the baby pool which they and the other children loved! And occasionally water jets and a waterfall into the two main pools which the children loved playing in. There were plenty of sun beds, hammocks and seating areas. The lifeguards on duty were excellent and made sure everyone was safe but had a good time. A nice touch in the grounds are the two parks with slides, climbing frames, swings and a trampoline which, for the under eights, was great fun! We ate in three of the many restaurants, (poolside, Arabesque and Luce) and the quality of food in all was good. Our twin room was on the small side compared to others we’ve stayed in but, to be fair, we were hardly in it as we spent all our time at the hotel outside. The bathroom was small and a little dated. It had all the usual complementary toiletries. But the hotel and our room were spotlessly clean. And for me that is so much more important than the latest, trendy decor. We all really enjoyed our visit and will certainly stay at the Al Ain Danat again.
Danat Al Ain, is pretty outside the town center, so provides complete peace and a calm environment. I would rate the place extremely high in terms of family and kids friendliness.Enough facilities to keep the kids engaged, provided the weather permits. They got a massive swimming pool with separate pool for kids to have fun and another area for family. They also have a pro sized pool for those who take their swimming seriously. Multiple restaurants, multiple cuisines , a bar and a pub. To top all that, there is a liquor shop right outside the resort for those who wants to indulge a bit more. The rooms were good. Clean and well made. Small, but clean bathrooms too. For the 2 days when we were there, it seemed like the resort was full and so, it took a bit of time at times for them to clear out the room. But overall good service.
We've been visiting this hotel for the past 9 years. Great location. Service is perfect. Staff super friendly. Always make you feel welcome. Great ambience by the Oasis pool bar. This hotel is our break away from Abu Dhabi. Family friendly. Clean. Rooms are old but spacious and clean. A special mention to Tanjore Restaurant. Food is excellent. A bit disappointed by Luce Restaurant as the menu has changed . Its more tex-mex than italian. We missed their Carbonara as it is not on the menu anymore. It was the best we've tasted so far. We had a perfect weekend.
