It has been a long time since I entered a room that had a tooth brush, shaving material and other toiletries, available. It sounds simple but it makes you feel welcome. The front desk is very friendly and accommodating. WiFi in Italy is terrible and this hotel is no exception. The hotel is across from the beach and would be a great location in the summer. The Super Market is a few blocks away. It has been a very nice stay.
It is says that there is WiFi but the connection is very very bad! Do not expect to be able to use it at all! I have stayed at the hotel several times and told them but still no improvement! It is 2018 and we should expect this to work!
Nice hotel. Lovely view we were across the road from the beach. Half hour away from the town centre. Found the hotel roam very clean and nicely arranged for us. Shower is quite small i struggled to shampoo my hair not sure what a bigger size person would do (i am a size 8) maybe they have bigger shower cubicles in other rooms! We had breakfast once it was not bad. Mediterranean style breakfast. Everyone can find something to eat. For a 3 star hotel it was pretty good
The staff were good & helpful. The rooms are a little tired & could do with updating. The breakfast was ok. Although in a good position for the beach, the location is a little away from the old town & commercial areas for bars & restaurants.
This hotel is located in a very nive spot, in from of the main beach but the room was completely disappointing. Very small for a 4 person family and if you want to take a shower do it in the beadh becouse the shower place is so small that you cant bend to take the soap on the foor or to wash yourself. The breakfast was very nice. Parking spot from the hotel very limited places so you have to park on the street.
So we landed at Pescara airport from Stansted on Irish budget airline. Take the no 8 bus to Pescara centre just over €1. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the centre on the sea front. We had pre booked via bookings.com for the week with a very good final price. Check in was easy room with sea view on 1st floor. Twin room good size plenty of storage, a balcony and decent size bathroom. Air con unit tv Shower wasn't the strongest but was ok and toilet played a tube when flushed. It's on the sea front and tho the road is outside was reasonably quiet. I guess quieter rooms at back but you miss the view. 1 daft thing was the voucher everyday for breakfast. They write the voucher you walk 10 paces and hand it In?? ??. Breakfast was continental.... Juice was a little lame.... Coffee from vending machine was poor..... But ask the waiters for a proper made cup Cereals fruit yoghurts juice eggs meats cheeses cakes bread teas Enough to set you up for the day. Receptionist very helpful Cleaning staff very efficient Lifts to all floors Downside sadly no wheelchair access The location suited us as it was close enough but just far enough from the centre but just around the corner from the purpose of our visit Stadio Adriatico.... Incidently taxi to airport €25 Or the no 10 and no 8 bus at €2
A small and clean place. The staff is very helpful, and there is always someone who speaks english. Wifi works very good and the breakfast is excellent. Rooms are small but the beds are very good. Towels and toiletry items are given by the hotel.
Our last stay at Hotel Regent was in 2013 and we decided to go back again as its location is perfect for visiting our family and friends. Really enjoyed our stay and could not complain as it had pretty much all we needed. Breakfast has improved quite a bit since our last stay and the staff are really switched on and always helpful and friendly. It is a really good 3 star hotel in my books...right opposite the beach, handy to the Monday market and local bus service. The only thing that bothered me a little was that there is no bar fridge to keep your drinks in...when the temperatures are in the high 30's it would be great to have access to a cool drink in your room. Other than that another big thumbs up to Hotel Regent....see you again next time!!
Good seafacing location, walking distance to the beach and to the harbour summer attractions area with restaurants and ice cream shops. Easy parking in the surroundings. Friendly and well organized English speaking reception staff. Simple modern rooms with small flat screen TV, and small bathroom. Our shower, old style, had an enjoyable xlarge shower head. Breakfast: espresso made cappuccino, local bread and home made cakes a must.
This hotel has nice location. Pay extra for a room with sea view, it is all worth it, watching the sunrise. The shower box is very small, the small I have ever seen in any hotel. With the door closed you could only sit straight (considering you are fit). The food at the restaurant downstairs is not good, it is relative expensive for the money and service is a bit on the unsatisfactory side. Breakfast is everyday the same. We stayed 7 days but bread was not fresh in any of these days. They do make a very good capucino by request at breakfast at no charge.
