Idyllic 18th century cottage originally built to house the chefs of the grand Taymouth castle estate in the heart of the famous historic village of Kenmore, with stunning views over Loch Tay the cottage is perfectly situated for hiking mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking and many other activities that are situated a stones throw from the property. Whether it’s a weekend of sport or relaxing with a glass of wine in this stunning part of the Scottish highlands, it will make for a fabulous time.

Located in Kenmore, just an 11-minute walk from The Scottish Crannog Centre, Chefs cottage provides beachfront accommodations with a garden, barbecue facilities, a terrace and free WiFi. Guests have a private balcony.

We had an amazing stay at the Chefs Cottage. It was immaculately clean and furnished to a very high standard. Views across Loch Tay were sensational. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back to stay here again.

This is an immaculately presented holiday home: comfortable, spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped. The location is perfect, with easy access to the loch and riverside woodland walks. We will be back!

Excellent!

We enjoyed a superb 4 night stay over New Year period. The house is seriously geared towards social interaction with the superb large kitchen / dining area located down a few stairs from the comfortable sitting room allowing for flowing ambience. The house is spacious, comfortable and homely. In fact one family member arrived for a visit and was so struck with the place they announced they wanted to move in! The view from the master bedroom balcony is priceless. The bathrooms are perfect. The kitchen lacks for nothing. We will definitely be back. Cheers Josh!

Autumn Break

The property was perfect for us. Kenmore holds a very special place in our hearts and staying centrally was just what we wanted. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and very comfortable also the welcome pack was fabulous as was the honesty bar.

Perfect spot by Loch Tay

Had a fantastic week in chefs cottage. Property was immaculate and had everything we needed. Perfect location for water sports on the Loch. Weather was glorious so it was lovely to spend evening having a quiet drink on balcony. We had to cut the second week short due to unforseen circumstances so we hope to return again for longer. Josh was a very helpful and attentive host. Can't ask for more in a holiday let.

Short break after a long lockdown

This was the perfect post lockdown break. An amazing cottage. Fully equipped with so many wonderful homely touches. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Definitely a home from home. Loved our few days away. We will be back again.
