Very nice hotel and very nice staff and bar! Breakfast was just ok.. but other than that things where great! The castle is more the front and the rooms are modern day hotel
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bed was VERY comfortable. Afternoon tea was generous, and in the sunny afternoon drinks outside on the patio were a treat! Delicious food in the bar. Short drive to Aberdeen. Didn't have time to swim, but did a workout in gym. It's well-equipped, but could use some sprucing up/upkeep: no towels, water was hard to find, no attendant, locks didn't work in locker room. Just needs a little TLC. I would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful hotel and atmosphere. The room we booked was not available so we were upgraded to one of the higher end suites. very nice views. Staff was very nice and accomodating. Bar was a little pricey but the food and drinks were very good.
