First Hotel Atlantic

We visited Aarhus for a couple of nights in April. The Hotel is about a ten minute walk from where the airport shuttle bus drops you off for those who need to know this. It's at a great location this hotel, close to the latin quarter and many bars. The rooms are clean and with good views overlooking the docks. Breakfast was also plentiful but a couple of issues which need to be addressed; 1) It would be nice to have someone greeting you on arrival at Breakfast. You come out of the lift and a 'Hello, Good morning, did you sleep well?' would go a long way. It just didn't seem like anyone was in charge of the breakfast. 2) The walls need painting. Lots of stains on the walls from various liquids. It just lets the hotel down really and I hope they sort it out. Don't let the above comment let you down though. If you are looking for somewhere to stay with a central location whether you're a couple, away with friends or a family with small children, this hotel would suit your needs perfectly. Really nice hotel, close to the pedestrian streets and with public transport right outside the door. Spacious room. Good and extensive breakfast buffet. Very cheap parking. Extra plus with coffee and tea in the lobby all day.

First Hotel Atlantic is a great choice for a city visit in Aarhus. Centrally located, close to the main harbor and all sorts of restaurants and cafes. The room was decorated nicely while offered a wide range of services incl. a coffee maker, extra pillows and blankets, iron and board, hair dryer and reliable WiFi. The bed was comfortable even if the mattress was softer than expected. The bathroom had a bathtub and a shower head - nothing more nothing less. The room had a harbor view as well that didn’t disappoint. The breakfast offered plenty of choices incl. gluten free, lactose free and vegan dishes. All and all is was a pleasant stay

Such a nice hotel with a great team. The location is fantastic and easy to get to transportation. Natasja and Norbert @ Front Desk were always helpful and the room was spacious with a great view! I didn't use it but I believe there is fairly easy access to parking too. There is also a really good italian restaurant located on property so didn't have to go too far to get a good meal either :-) Also the breakfast room had the most amazing views of the city

I have been a guest twice in this hotel and I will definitely return. Great location (basically everything within walking distance), spacious and clean rooms, great breakfast and very friendly reception staff. Convenient parking.

Stayed there for three nights. First night I didn’t get a parking spot as I didn’t know that I had to reserve it. The hotel has a breakfast restaurant but nothing for lunch and dinner. However there are plenty of restaurants in the area so not a big problem. I missed a place to workout while staying at the hotel and the desk in the room is very small. The staffs are helpful. Will I come again? Yes after all it is one of the better hotels in Aarhus

A good, nice and simple hotel perfect situated by the canal. The restaurant area is along the canal, so you have just some hundred metres to walk to the restaurants and the city centre. Friendly staff.

Over all liked this hotel Pros 1. Central Location with bars and restaurants in walking distance 2. Sea views from restaurant on 9th floor where breakfast is served 3. cleaniness 4. Good for the price Cons 1. Room size small 2. Toilets need upgrade.

I was there for a four night stay during the New Years. The hotel is near the bus station and the train station. My room faced the harbor and the view of the fireworks on New Years Eve was outstanding, The breakfast was very high quality. The staff was excellent. They were helpful in providing recommendations for museums. Free and good Wifi. There is tea and coffee in the front lobby. Bring your own thermos bottle because there is no a cooker in the room. The front desk will fill it up so you can have coffee and tea in your room. In the evening there were brownies with the tea and coffee. The staff all speak English, as did all the people from Denmark I met. Only issue with the trip was not anything related to the hotel, but the museums were closed on December 31, 2017, and January 1, 2018. Also many eating places were closed. If you want to tour sights, this is not the time to visit the city.

Very centraly located by the harbour, parking available and good infrastructue by tram and busses. Friendly staff, good rooms, great view from the breakfast restaurant and a very good selektion of food for breakfast.
