On the owners' grounds you'll enjoy over one hundred fruit trees, berries, raspberries and native plants. Ten cheerful chickens roam freely. The wide views give a sense of freedom.



The Space:

Kalfhoeksepad 8 is a new, luxury holiday home for four people in Aagtekerke, opened in February 2024. The owners built the home themselves and lovingly chose the materials — the upper floor is made from an old gym floor from Middelburg. The home is nearly energy-neutral. There is a bedroom on the ground floor and one on the first floor. On the ground floor is a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The living room is spacious and on the loft is a relaxation spot. The kitchen features a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, cooker, dishwasher and fridge. The spacious enclosed terrace offers a wonderful spot to sit outside. Children are very welcome — upstairs is a play area on the loft, and there are permanently a cot, high chair, children's crockery and stair gate provided. Pets are welcome.



Guest Access:

Parking is available in front of the cottage — a Hello Zeeland parking sign has been placed. Bicycles can be stored at the cottage (not covered). Pets are welcome.



The Neighborhood:

Aagtekerke is a quiet village in the green heart of Walcheren, surrounded by polders. The beaches of Oostkapelle and Domburg are within cycling distance. The area is wonderful for cycling, with rural routes through the Walcheren countryside. The village itself has a rural, relaxed atmosphere.



Getting Around:

At Kalfhoeksepad 8, you can park for free in front of the property. A clear Hello Zeeland parking sign shows you where to park. Entry is through the main door on the right. Everything is organised for your stay.



Other Things to Note:

Pick fruit in the owners' orchard — berries, raspberries and more. Cycle to Oostkapelle or Domburg beach. Enjoy the wide views over the Zeeland countryside. Make friends with the ten chickens roaming freely on the grounds.
