Tugawe Cove Resort
"This resort could be wonderful. However, a lack of investment (and histroical typhoon damage) shows in dilapidated buildings and a sub par experience compared to other "luxury" resorts. But it's a good place to be, excellent location with a lovely resort team with some drawbacks that are good to be aware of before arriving: access is only by boat (P.1500 return each), no hot water in room, food options limited/no beer after 1st day, room did not lock as doors broken, island hopping was expensive for 2 (P. 5000 for 9am to 3pm) but better if you are a big party. Food was mixed: some really good meals, others arrived cold. Breakfast just ok. Games room dilapidated, photo must be c.10 years ago! This was compensated for in part, by a wonderful beach, island hop and sunset by the lighthouse. Overall a really special location and a good stay despite the drawbacks, but comparatively expensive for what it is now. (Note: on a hillside, lots of steps!)"
