272-2 Oceanfront Magic

Experience Oceanfront Bliss at Puamana, Maui

Welcome to your perfect Maui getaway, a modern and beautifully updated oceanfront townhome in the serene Puamana community. Offering unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, this home invites you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Maui. From your private lanai, enjoy breathtaking sunsets, whale watching in season, and turtles gliding through the waves, all just steps from your door.

This townhome was fully remodeled in 2017, featuring exquisite custom cabinetry, luxurious granite finishes, and artisan faux-finished doors. The 16-foot folding glass door creates a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living spaces, making it easy to savor the gentle ocean breezes and panoramic views. Ideal for water enthusiasts, the property provides direct access to some of Maui’s best surfing, snorkeling, and paddleboarding, right in your backyard.

Spanning 1,025 square feet, this home comfortably accommodates couples or families of up to eight, with a mix of children and adults. The living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and both the upper and lower lanais offer incredible ocean views, ensuring that every moment is framed by the beauty of the island. A fully equipped kitchen and a gas BBQ provide everything you need to prepare meals at home, adding to the comfort and convenience of your stay.

Located in the tranquil Puamana community, this home offers a peaceful retreat from everyday life. Both Puamana and Lahaina were profoundly affected by the devastating fire of August 8, 2023.

Unfortunately, the historic clubhouse and some amenities were lost to the fire. Despite this, Puamana still offers a truly unique island experience and the perfect place to unwind and relax. A complete renovation of the spectacular Ocean Pool was completed in October 2025, offering guests a one-of-a-kind setting right at the water’s edge with breathtaking views of the Pacific. The Dolphin Pool, tennis court and pickleball court are also open and available for use.

Puamana remains a beautiful and resilient community, with stunning oceanfront views and the opportunity to experience Maui’s spirit of aloha firsthand. Parking is easy, with complimentary access for one vehicle and an option for a second at a small daily fee. The contactless registration process ensures a smooth arrival, so you can focus on enjoying your time in paradise.

This home has been a true haven for our family, and we’re honored to share it with guests who will appreciate its beauty and contribute to the healing of our island. Whether you’re seeking adventure, tranquility, or meaningful time with loved ones, this oceanfront retreat in Puamana is ready to make your Maui vacation unforgettable.

Great family vacation!

We had a great time. The house is on the waterfront which is good for beginner surfers (like us). We took some of the best pictures of the entire vacation. The management was extremely responsive, kind, and very professional. We'll be back soon.

This rental was gorgeous, you can see turtles from bed! There is an extensive amount of rules to follow, more than any other place I've ever stayed. The host was quick to respond whenever I had a question. The oceanfront pool was stunning, but some of the other guests were quite rude to my family. Overall a great rental.

Family getaway on Maui

We loved waking up to see the ocean every morning. The condo was exactly what we expected from the listing. The neighborhood was very quiet. They are definitely still in the rebuilding phase after the fire. There isn’t any walkable access to restaurants or anything so we had to drive quite a bit.

Place was great. Right on the ocean. Very clean and quiet. All the instructions were clear and helpful. My only complaint is that none of the surfboards were really usable. They are all in pretty bad shape.

The unit kitchen was very well equipped. The unit was very clean, absolutely beautiful views and sunset! The third bedroom was great for a family with children with a queen and a bunk bed.The host opened the unit for our grocery delivery before we arrived. The host was very fast with any questions we had. There are a lot of rules within the property, we went to the “quiet pool” and the security guard said we were being noisy ( We were talking) there were 6 of us. I didn’t feel like some of the owners are very fond of the renters but we met other owners that were very helpful with any questions and nice to talk with. Great restaurants and shopping within 5 minute drive. Would love to return and stay here again.

A perfect getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are so grateful that we were able to stay here for our first time in Maui. The house was incredibile—the beachfront view was unreal. Waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunset from the backyard was unforgettable. The condo itself was thoughtfully designed and super cozy, it had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The location was also great for exploring the island.

Oceanfront view

Unit was well equipped, clean, and staff were helpful. Relatively quiet location for a condo (attached). The beach is very small, better when tide is out. Check out kitchen supplies before you go grocery shopping, lots of stuff has been left by previous tenants. A few days before we left we discovered a stash above the microwave hood! Surfboards aren’t usable, but there are a couple snorkel masks available.

The views from the property were impressive. Sleeping to the sound of crashing waves was a unique experience. The downstairs bathroom was crazy tight but we made it work. Everything was clean and tidy. I wish I had done a bit more research on location. I didn't realize that all the food and community was so far away due to the fire. We finally discovered the beach on the property was good near the second entrance down from the house but only during low tide was it usable. Adding info like that to the house guide would have helped us plan better. Also a more through accounting of what is available for the beach could have saved me room in my packing. Looks like the photos provided and comfortable for the eight of us. Thank you for opening your home!
