By Bill Pirraglia

Soon, those who love ski vacations out West will enjoy them even more. In 2010, some fabulous new features will decorate a few of your favorite Colorado and Utah ski destinations.

  • Peak 8 in Breckenridge, Colorado, now features a wonderful new condominium property at One Ski Hill Place. Since debuting in June 2010, these luxury ski in/ski out luxury condos are a fabulous new addition to an already superior ski vacation location.
  • Always a favorite, the Park City Mountain Resort area will offer expanded night skiing up to 9 p.m. at the Three King’s Mountainzone. Consistently named one of the top skiing/riding venues in the U.S., Park City, Utah, continues to enhance its “skier friendly” reputation.
  • Also in Park City, the Deer Valley Resort is hosting the Freestyle FIS World Championships in early February 2011. Deer Valley was just ranked #1 Ski Resort in North America for 2010-2011, for the unprecedented 4th year in a row. Mark your calendars and reserve your airfare and hotel now to watch the best in the world compete in moguls, ski cross, aerials, and the always exciting half-pipe events.
  • Never to be outdone, the long-time favorite, Vail, Colorado, has a couple of exciting new updates. This fall, attend the ribbon cutting for the fabulous new Four Seasons Resort Vail. With 121 luxurious guest rooms (24 suites), 16 private residences, and 19 Residence Club homes (fractional ownership), this $250 million resort is built with the high quality standards of Four Seasons resort tradition.
  • For those of you who can never cram enough mountain runs into a day on your ski vacations, the High Noon Chairlift (Chair 5) will now be a new high-speed quad lift. Serving the famous Sun Up Bowl and the Sun Down Bowl, this new chair will get you back on the Vail slopes in only six minutes!
