Not bad overall, probably expected more for a "deluxe" room (minibar, enough water to fill the kettle/Nespresso machine please, maybe a bit of sugar as well...!). Some signs of wear, one of the blinds broken, some damage to one of the window sills. Room itself was spacious, nice bathroom, just falls a bit short of expectation.

Fantastic hotel
This is a lovely characterful hotel. It has a great cocktail bar and breakfast was very good. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Location was perfect for us as we were dining nearby. Very comfortable, spacious rooms.

Feels a little bit tired now. Could do with a redecoration and some investment in the little luxuries that the room rate warrants. No mini bar in the room. Not even a bottle of water. Used to be a great hotel chain but now not worth the price tag now.

Classy, comfortable and reliable
As you come to expect from Hotel Du Vin, the welcoming and attentive staff make the experience. Walking into the room you already feel like you’re in a special place, and our room didn’t disappoint. Very comfortable, well appointed and classical style. The only slight gripe was that our bathroom with roll top bath and walk through shower was a little cold - but when we casually mentioned this to the staff to suggest they check the heating, they struck off the drinks we had charged to our room as an apology, which was very unexpected.
