What you can expect

  • Begin your adventure at the majestic Borobudur Temple, the world's largest Buddhist monument and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through its grand stone corridors and be mesmerized by the intricate relief carvings that tell ancient stories of wisdom and enlightenment.

Stand atop this architectural marvel, surrounded by lush volcanic peaks and misty valleys, and feel a sense of peace and wonder that stays with you long after you leave.

Next, transition from ancient architecture to living traditions with an interactive Batik-making workshop. Led by a skilled local artisan, learn the meticulous, centuries-old technique of using hot wax and copper stamps or canting tools to create beautiful patterns on fabric.

Channel your inner creativity, connect deeply with Indonesian craftsmanship, and take home your very own handmade Batik masterpiece as a priceless souvenir.

No cultural exploration is complete without tasting the local flavors, which is why this tour includes a delightful 5-local-snack tasting session. Sample a curated selection of traditional Javanese treats, featuring a perfect balance of sweet and savory bites like bakpia, wajik, and lemper.

Paired with a refreshing herbal drink, this culinary interlude offers a delicious glimpse into the daily life and comforting flavors of the region.
