Romania is one of Europe’s oldest wine-making countries, yet its wines remain a well-kept secret outside its borders. This tasting is your shortcut to discovering them.
You’ll taste three carefully selected Romanian wines (a white, a rosé and a red), exclusively from local producers. Each wine is paired with a delicious cheese platter, chosen to bring out the best in every glass.

For each wine, he’ll explain where it comes from, what makes the grape unique and how to taste it like a professional, without any wine jargon. Along the way, he may also share a few stories about Romania’s history and geography: how the hills, rivers and climate shape its wine regions, and how centuries of history left their mark on what ends up in your glass.
The tasting takes place in a cozy, authentic venue in Bucharest, in a relaxed, small-group setting.
Whether you’re new to wine or a seasoned enthusiast, you’ll leave knowing more about Romania, and with a few new favorite wines to look for.
