Know before you book

    • Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
    • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
    • What to bring: Hiking shoes, gloves, small backpack, water, snacks, rain jacket
    • Suitable for beginners (no climbing experience required)
    • Includes all climbing equipment
    • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
    • Minimum age is 12 years
    • Peak 2 Peak Gondola Ticket is required and not included. Please contact MSAA to purchase lift ticket
    • Children must be accompanied by an adult

Activity itinerary

At the top of the gondola, the guide will outfit you with a harness and helmet. The group then hikes for 30-45 minutes across the base of the glacier. There is a small scrambling section before we clip into the safety cables and begin climbing up. Step and grab onto the rungs to climb up. At halfway up, we stop for water, snacks and photos. Then we continue climbing up the peak of Whistler Mountain.
