Overview

  • If you want to discover an authentic Sardinian wine, a unique Canonau on the regional territory and on the world scene, you must try this tasting, in the heart of Barbagia.
We are in Mamoiada, in the Mamujone district, the fulcrum of the town's historic center, today a symbol of Sardinian cultural identity and folklore.
Here you will be greeted by the warmth of a family, who with enthusiasm and passion, will lead you to discover the viticulture of the past, in fact you will visit rare vineyards on a free foot, that is, without the intruder American rootstock.
The experience continues in the cellar, with the tasting of the various wines produced, without farmed yeasts, no clarifications, not filtered, and without added sulfites.
The tasting will then be accompanied by local, artisanal foods.
A unique experience of its kind, for those who want to know the identity of the place.

Activity itinerary

Mamoiada

  • 2h
In the heart of Barbagia, between the landscapes of Gennargentu and Supramonte, lies Mamoiada, an authentic village of about 2,500 inhabitants. The surrounding area is shaped by rolling granite hills and ancient transhumance routes, now transformed into picturesque trekking and biking trails. Here, nature also expresses itself through the intense aromas of the vineyards surrounding the village, which produce distinctive wines such as Cannonau and Granazza, pure expressions of the local winemaking tradition.
