Lake Jasna

Vrsic Pass - Julian Alps

We continue our journey over the Vršič Pass, the highest mountain road in Slovenia at 1,611 meters above sea level. As we gently wind our way up through a series of scenic bends, we’re surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Julian Alps, right in the heart of Triglav National Park. The road was built during World War I by Russian prisoners of war, and along the way we pass the Russian Chapel, a touching wooden memorial that commemorates their story

Soca Valley

As we descend into the Soča Valley, we are welcomed by one of the most beautiful alpine river valleys in Europe. The turquoise waters, suspension bridges, and dramatic cliffs create a truly unforgettable panorama. It’s a perfect way to get close to the raw beauty of the Soča River.

Bovec
