Description

Spend a day adventuring at the “end of the world” as you explore the mountainous landscapes, glacial lakes, and natural wonders of Tierra del Fuego National Park with a guided hike along Ensanada Bay.

Just 7 miles (12 km) outside of Ushuaia lies Tierra del Fuego, a stunning national park located at the southernmost tip of South America that's often referred to as “the end of the world.” Depart Ushuaia and watch the changing scenery as you drive past picturesque Patagonian lakes, lagoons, and rivers, all of which exit through the famous Beagle Channel. After passing Mt. Susana, arrive at an old prison, which is now the site of the Southern Fuegian Railway—also known as the End of the World Train.

Then, continue through the valley toward Ensenada Bay, where you can view the Redonda and Estorbo Islands as well as the snow-capped Sampaio Mountains, located across the Beagle Channel in Chile. Enjoy the opportunity to hike along the beautiful shores of Roca Lake and the Lapataia River. Arrive at a vantage point with spectacular views, stretching all the way to Cóndor Hill at the border of Chile. End your tour with a visit to the peat-filled Green and Black lagoons before heading back to Lapataia Bay.

Great Experience of exploring the Tierra De Fuego National Park via bus. Beautiful scenery and good explanation of history of Ushuaia and flora and fauna in the national park.
