Know before you book
- Driving time to Skaftafell from Reykjavík is around 4 hours and 30 minutes. If you arrive early, you can visit Skaftafell Visitor Center, which has a gift shop, cafe, and restrooms.
- Minimum age is 12 years old
- We do not offer any clothing for rental but we do rent out glacier hiking boots for 1,500 ISK.
- Bring warm clothing as first layer and waterproof clothing as second layer.
- Please be ready 30 minutes prior to the departure time of your tour. Please note that if you arrive after departure time, your place on the tour can't be guaranteed or refunded.
