The Tistarelli Oil Mill tells the story of a family that, since the 1960s, has been dedicated to the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. A deep connection to its roots, combined with a passion for research and innovation, gives life to an oil that embodies the authenticity of Tuscany. Today, the mill is run by Fausta Tistarelli, who together with her family proudly continues this tradition.
All year round, the tour with tasting of olive oils and typical Tuscan products offers the chance to visit the mill, discover its history, learn about the evolution of milling techniques, and see how high-quality EVO oil is produced. The experience ends with a true moment of Tuscan conviviality: at the table, guests learn how to recognize, distinguish, and appreciate the fruit of this work, paired with specialties from other small local producers — cured meats, cheeses, wines, and pastries.
During the harvest season (from mid-October to mid-December), the visit becomes even more evocative: the air fills with the fragrance of the new oil, while the festive atmosphere created by the olive growers makes the experience truly unique.
