Overview

  • Experience a total immersion in the Food Valley with a 90-minute guided tour to discover Parmigiano Reggiano PDO. Inside an authentic artisanal dairy, you will witness the live production among iconic copper vats, watching master cheesemakers extract the cheese mass. The journey continues through the shaping and brine rooms, leading to the spectacular “Cathedral of Cheese”—a massive aging warehouse with thousands of wheels where you will discover the art of quality control using the traditional percussion hammer.

    Customize your experience:

    • Option 1 (Vertical Tasting): A technical journey featuring a tasting of three aging stages (12, 24, and over 30 months) to distinguish the unique aromas and textures of the “King of Cheeses.”
    • Option 2 (Emilian Light Lunch): A complete gourmet experience with a rich platter of local cold cuts (Prosciutto di Parma, Fiocco di Culatello), local cheeses, and a glass of regional wine (Lambrusco or Spergola).
