A family story, five generations deep – told through wine.
Leave the city behind and step into the quiet of the Itria Valley, where an organic vineyard has been shaped by the same family for five generations.
Among the vines — Your visit starts in the vineyard, where you'll walk the rows of native Susumaniello grapes and learn how this family has protected the region's biodiversity through organic farming, generation after generation.
A winery inside a trullo — From the land to the architecture: you'll step inside a unique winery, housed in an authentic trullo — one of the few of its kind still in use today.
Underground, where time stands still — Beneath the trullo, you'll descend into the estate's historic cellars, kept at a constant temperature to protect the wine. See the bottling line up close, and admire the classic ceramic amphorae once used to honor century-old Apulian winemaking traditions – alongside the wines currently aging today.
Tasting at the estate's wine bar — Your visit ends with a glass of wine and local appetizers, right in the heart of the estate — a relaxed way to round out the experience.
Comfortable shoes recommended — much of the tour takes place outdoors and underground.
