This tour is ideal for tourists who have limited time in Ohrid but wish to experience Lake Ohrid by boat.
Regular departure point is the Ohrid central port located only 50 meters from the main square. It includes Ohrid Old Town, cruising close to the shore so you can have a detailed view, while on the way back the cruise will take you further from the shore, so you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the entire Old Town. The most important sights are the 9th-century Church of Saint Sophia, the fishing settlement of Kaneo, and the mid-15th-century Church of Saint John at Kaneo. The latter is Ohrid’s most famous and photographed church because of its location on a cliff overlooking Lake Ohrid.
Furthermore, you will see the unspoiled Labino Beach and the two so-called Caves of Love, which are very popular with locals and attract considerable attention from tourists. On the way back you will see the Church of Saint Clement Pantelejmon at Plaoshnik, built on the foundations of an early Christian basilica back in the 9th century. On the top of the Old Town is the Tzar Samuel fortress from the 10th century which overlooks both the lake and the whole Ohrid area.
This tour circles Ohrid Old Town and continues to the Presidential Residence, built for and used by Tito, lifelong president of the former Yugoslavia. Today, the president and government mainly use it as a holiday residence.
It is a beautiful resort of small villas located within a pine forest that is more than 40 years old. Then we cruise by Park Golden Beach, Cuba Libre Beach, to the entrance of Biljana springs canal.
End point of this tour is same as the departure, the Ohrid central port.
