  • Desert terrain with high sun exposure — bring plenty of water and sun protection
  • Goblin Valley has no marked trails — free to explore on foot, but bring a compass and map
  • Water available only at the Visitor Center, Campground Restrooms, and Overlook Restrooms
  • No food in the park — nearest hotels and restaurants in Hanksville and Green River; pack food for a full day
  • Park open 6 a.m.–10 p.m. daily; cash fee can be deposited at the Iron Ranger outside the Visitor Center if it's closed
  • Damaging or defacing the goblins or any rock surface is illegal

The first stop on the Goblin Valley State Park Tour! These are accessible by an easy-to-reach trail, this panel depicts dogs, other animals, human figures, and symbols. Some of these pictographs are over 6 ft tall!

Wild Horse Window Trailhead

This 1.8-mile out-and-back trail is generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes around an hour to complete.
