Asahiyama Zoo
Winter brings a different energy to Asahiyama Zoo, with penguins, seals, and polar bears offering plenty to discover. Watch penguins glide underwater and seals swim through a glass tunnel, with snowy surroundings adding to the experience.
Shirahige Waterfall
White ribbons of water tumble down the cliffs into the blue-toned river below. Snow-covered rocks and delicate ice formations frame the flowing falls, creating a striking winter photo stop.
Ningle Terrace
Snow-topped log cottages tucked among the trees make Ningle Terrace feel like a tiny village from a storybook. Follow the wooden walkways, peek into craft shops, and browse handmade keepsakes inspired by Hokkaido’s forests.
※Ningle Terrace is closed for maintenance from November 5 to 26. In winter, entry may also be limited to prevent overcrowding. If we cannot visit, we will skip this stop and spend more time at other attractions. Your guide will arrange the changes on the day.
Shirogane Blue Pond
In deep winter, the Blue Pond takes on a quieter beauty, with bare tree trunks rising from its frozen, snow-covered surface. Think of a Japanese ink painting brought to life, with simple shapes and a peaceful stillness. Depending on snow and ice conditions, the famous blue water may be hidden beneath the snow.
