Description

Take in Arizona's breathtaking beauty with a tour that takes you to the incredible Grand Canyon and the Navajo Indian Reservation. Stop for pictures of Red Rocks of Sedona completes an educational and visually striking journey into the state's heartland.

After convenient pickup from most hotels, travel north on I-17 by comfortable van through the Sonora Desert, with sights of Saguaro cacti all around you. Continue to the Ponderosa Pine Forests en route to Flagstaff, home of Lowell Observatory, which discovered the planet Pluto. Route 66, one of the country's most famous roads, also runs through this charming town.

Take in some of the most sweeping vistas of the Grand Canyon you'll ever see, with rainbow-colored sandstone and jagged rock formations surrounding you throughout your visit to this natural world wonder. Enjoy plenty of opportunities to stop and soak in the canyon's grandeur from various viewpoints.

Next, make a stop at the famous Cameron Trading Post on the Navajo Indian Reservation. Established in 1916, the trading post has become a showcase for fine, hand-crafted Native American art, displaying the work of 7 tribes throughout the Southwest.

Make a stop for photos of the Red Rocks of Sedona, which present natural colors unique to the state. Hear interesting bits of information about the area's history and geology before ending the day with hassle-free transportation back to your hotel.

Bea was a wonderful tour guide; we learned a lot all along the way. The stops were excellent, perfect amount of time at each stop. My only complaint is that the van seats were not very comfortable.

The driver and his knowledge was AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY recommend him and throughly enjoyed hearing his knowledge of not only the Gran Canyon itself, but AZ too. The trip was enjoyable - but it was a very long trip. 12-13 hours! And it really had about 3 hours wasted picking up other passengers and then dropping them off, and I know that sometimes we are really spread out at other hotels but there has got to be a better way to do this then the way it is being done? Maybe have multiple drivers pick everyone up AT THE SAME TIME and then meet at one location and then everyone gets in the van and heads to the event. Because of how long this was, it was a very long exhausting day.
