We'll pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. to head to the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, which sits at over 4000 meters above sea level. There, you'll be able to spot local fauna and Andean camelids such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos. We'll also stop in the community of Patahuasi to try some mate or Andean herbal tea to help you acclimatize to the altitude.
Then we'll continue our journey through the Andean highlands. We'll have beautiful views among grasslands and wetlands where, with luck, you'll see Andean flamingos depending on the season. We'll arrive at the town of Calle and see its imposing castles or geological formations that amaze every visitor. Finally, we'll arrive at the town of Sibayo, known as Rumillacta (stone town), recently recognized as a charming town.
