Our big Trabant tour through Dresden starts at the listed Simmel Center (Turnerweg / Antonstraße 2A, 01097 Dresden) and heads towards the exhibition grounds and the old slaughterhouse. Past the former Yenidze cigarette factory, the Congress Center, and Erlweinspeicher, the convoy rumbles through Dresden's old town to Theaterplatz, where you'll discover historic buildings such as the Taschenbergpalais, the Semperoper, and the Residenzschloss.
On the terrace bank, you'll cross the Augustus Bridge, the Brühl Terrace, and the historic Procession of Princes. Passing the Kurländer Palais and the “Golden Town Hall Man,” you'll encounter the Great Garden and the glass VW factory along the way. The Trabant tour leads over the Albert Bridge through the Inner and Outer New Town into the Prussian Quarter. Here you'll make your first stop at Lingnerschloss – including a panorama of the Elbe Valley.
Following the paths of the writers Friedrich Schiller and Theodor Körner, you'll continue to the historic village center of Loschwitz with the famous Dresden mountain railways, via the Blue Wonder towards Schillerplatz.
The next stop at the Käthe-Kollwitz-Ufer offers another opportunity to change drivers, in addition to the fantastic view of the Elbe castles and Dinglinger's vineyards. The convoy rumbles over the Waldschlößchen Bridge to the Pfunds dairy, known as the “most beautiful milk shop in the world.” For the final stretch, you'll go through the alternative artists' quarter and the Outer New Town.
After about 2.5 hours, the convoy will arrive again at the Simmel Center in the Erich Kästner district. Here you can continue your sightseeing tour, for example, with a guided city tour on foot. Tickets at a discounted price are available directly from us.
