Day 1: Siem Reap to Preah Khan Temple

Accommodation: Stay in head of commune’s house Ta Seng, 5 kms for the temple or a comfortable hotel in Tbeng Meanchey.

Preah Khan Kompong Svay

Depart on a dirt road to small villages and beautiful countryside, stopping to investigate small markets with guide explaining local vegetables and produce. Exceptional offroad tailored to the riders ability.

Preah Khan, commonly known as Bakan temple locally, is located 180km through deep jungle small tracks and trails and remote villages. It is an ancient capital located in Preah Vihear provincevia an Old Angkorian highway. Challenging ride over ancient bridges with many twist and turns. This jungle, small ox cart road is a single overgrown tack.

Following this, numerous small stops & villages and turns in the road. Late afternoon arrival at the crossroads in Ta Seng village to visit with locals. SR to Ta Seng – 160kms of difficult road. Gues have the option or saying at a local homestay or a comfortable hotel in Tbeng Meanchey.

Day 2: Preah Khan to Koh Ker Temples

Accommodation: Overnight at Koh Ker Jungle Lodge or guesthouse in Seyiong. Supplement for a local hotel with pool possible.

Koh Ker , a UNESCO heritage site, was the ancient 10-century capital of the Khmer Empire; over 150 km away from Siem reap. Start with the palaces before entering and standing in front of Prasat Thom. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Exceptional offroad tailored to guest's ability.

Travel onwards to Prasat 5 (5Temple), Prasat Chen (Chinese Temple) Prasat Kamou (Black Temple), Lingapura – the City of the Lingas, the haunting Elephant temple and host of other ancient temples before returning to our overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Koh Ker to Siem Reap

Accommodation: Guest will cover own accommodation back in Siem Reap. Not included in tour.

Siem Reap

Following healthy breakfast. Onward through back Quoi by the old Angkorian highway that connects Koh Ker and Bakan , route 66. This highway can be seen on maps but is very difficult in many parts. These highways were used by various God Kings as the travelled through the Kingdom with their caravans on this fabled road

Travel onward to Beng Meela, located on ancient highway between Prasat Bakan and Koh Ker. Beng Melea temples is thought to be the pro type for Angkor Wat and is situated on the old Angkorian highway that connect to the Great Phreah Khan of Kampong Svay. It has over 11 galleries and id filed with hanging ferns and butterflies – just what you imagine you would find in Cambodia! Exceptional satellite temples in and around here at the base of Kulen Mountain.
