Start your day early with one of Bohol’s most popular marine experiences. This well-organized group tour combines dolphin watching, snorkeling with sea turtles, and coral reef exploration.
Hotel pickups in Panglao start from 5:30 AM. Alternatively, meet at 6:00 AM at the beachfront of Bohol South Beach Hotel. This meeting time and location are fixed. We then take an early boat ride along the Panglao coast to look for wild dolphins.
Next, the tour continues to Balicasag Island, known for its colorful reefs and frequent sea turtle sightings. With snorkeling gear provided and a local guide coordinating the timing, you’ll swim among tropical fish and explore vibrant coral areas.
At Balicasag Island, guests transfer with a local marine guide to the turtle snorkeling area.
After snorkeling and the planned Virgin Island stop, return to Panglao around 11:30 AM, depending on sea conditions. Allow about 6 hours including pickup, or 5.5 hours from the 6:00 AM meeting point. The tour is carefully timed to make the most of morning conditions, creating a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Dolphins and sea turtles are wild animals, and sightings vary from day to day. This route and timing are chosen to give the best possible chances each morning.
This activity takes place in a shared marine area where other tour boats may be present during snorkeling, especially around Balicasag Island.
Virgin Island (Puntod) is a planned sandbar stop. The visit and any landing depend on tides, weather, visitor limits and local access rules. A boat visit does not guarantee a walk on exposed sand. Follow your guide and the designated access route; vendor stalls are not permitted on the sandbar.
Snorkel masks, life jackets and photo help are included. The environmental fee is ₱500 per person, paid separately in Philippine pesos. Meals and drinks are extra. GoPro, fins and extra equipment are available to rent.
Balicasag has no dock, so getting on and off the boat and walking through shallow water takes a reasonable level of fitness. This tour is not suitable for children under 3.
Weather cancellations: if unsafe weather or Coast Guard restrictions stop the tour, choose a free new date or a full refund.
The tour is operated by the same team behind Bohol’s best-reviewed countryside and waterfall tours, known for clear communication, good timing, and reliable service.
