Spend an unforgettable night under the desert stars in this adventurous trip to Aydatkul lake in the middle of the Desert. Along the way you will experience the wild life of the deserts and the historical monuments dated back the thousands of years in the period of Alexander the Great invasion.
Day 1: Samarkand - Nurata - Yanghi-Gazgan
We drive to East, to the old oasis of Nur, modern city Nurata. We visit Alexander the Great's fortress ruins, Cahshma Mosque and an ancient irrigation system, before continuing our drive to Yanghi-Gazgan and our overnight yurt accommodation.
Day 2 Aydarkul lake - Bukhara or Samarkand
After breakfast, we have the chance to take a camel ride. We then drive north to Lake Aydarkul, where we go for a hike to meet fishermen, take a picnic lunch and maybe even have a swim. Road to Samarkand through the Khartang village where we visit the complex of monuments of Ismail Al-Boukhari great scholar of Islam, who collected the Hadith (sayings of prophet Muhammad) are considered most accurate. Arrival in Samarkand or Bukhara.
Please take a not on November and December, picnic in Aydar Lake is not included because the restaurant will be closed but you can still go and see the Aydar Lake!
