After about 1 hour drive from Avignon: Free tour of the Arles arenas, built between 80 and 90 AD. Then 30 minutes drive to Les Baux de Provence.

Provençal picnic under the trees of the estate then visit the oil mill and tasting several olive oils from the Vallée des Baux appellation.

Visit the village entirely built in limestone from the limestone quarries near which the village is built. It has a superb view from the top of the hill. Then 20 minutes drive to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
