This experience at La Coruña is brought to you by Pencil & Fork, host of another fantastic activity announced at this same platform with great reviews (A Coruña: Local Market Shopping and Cooking Workshop).
This time, Pencil & Fork will focus on Galician wines, explaining the history of our vines, our different kinds of grapes, our geography and climate. We are at Alfredo Vicenti 29 and the experience will last from 14:00 to 15:30 (other times may be available upon request)
We will talk about the five Designation of Origin (DOs) that we have in Galicia and will taste the three more known grapes: Godello, Albariño and Mencía – two whites and one red.
However, this will be an interactive experience. Together, we will go through the three steps of our wine tasting: visual, olfactory and taste analysis.
Each participant will have their own wine tasting score card and we will discuss each wine together. No previous knowledge in wine is needed - this is a pleasant activity for all, not only for wine connoisseurs.
PLEASE NOTE: we need a minimum of two people for this experience to take place. If the minimum is not reached, we will notify you. If you have reduced mobility please let us know first. The experience usually takes place on an upper level but this can be changed if previously notified.
