What you can expect
Set out to spend 3 days angling for the best catch around on this journey along remote Alaskan rivers amid a wealth of natural wonders. This float package carries you to some of the best streams for rainbow trout, salmon, and Arctic grayling, along with 2 nights of camping in the wilderness.
You start off by picking up your gear and grabbing breakfast at a lodge amid the trees south of Talkeetna. Then, it's time to take to the waters at upper Peters Creek and leave the other fishers behind. The inflatable raft carries you down pristine waters amid the magnificent scenery, with plenty of stops to cast your line and see what bites.
In the evenings, your guide leads you to a campsite in the vast country, where you can relax around the fire ahead of another day of floating and fishing. Your guide can set the pace to suit your group, pointing the way to some prime fisheries far removed from the most crowed angler's haunts, and then you get another night to enjoy the untouched lands.
The third day gives you a last chance at fishing from the raft or a few more choice spots before your excursion draws to a close. Head back to Talkeetna with some great catch and terrific memories of your time in the Alaskan frontier.
