Today marks a crucial day of your tour as you embark on a journey to Sarangkot, a significant viewpoint renowned for its breathtaking views of the Himalayas. From there, we will embark on a scenic drive towards the China Tibet border, where you can witness breathtaking views of the majestic Mt. Himalaya, deep gorges, and snow-capped mountains. During the journey, we will also pass through the Langtang National Park, which is home to various wildlife species and picturesque landscapes. Once we arrive at Syabrubesi, we will provide you with comfortable accommodation at a local guest house in the village.
Day 7: Syabrubesi to Kyirong (Gyirong) (40km, 4-5hrs) (B)

After having breakfast, we will proceed towards the border, which is approximately 15km away from our current location, to enter China. Upon reaching the Chinese side, our team will introduce you to your guide, who will assist you throughout the rest of the journey. From there, we will embark on a scenic 1-hour drive to Kyirong, a picturesque town surrounded by lofty snow-capped mountains and dense forests. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to visit Paba Temple, a magnificent Gelugpa temple constructed by Tibetan King Songtsan Gambo at the request of his wife, Nepali Princess Bhrikuti. The temple features delicate murals and showcases a unique Nepali architectural style. Additionally, the temple is located within a few minutes' walk from your hotel. You will spend the night in comfortable accommodation provided at Kyirong Hotel.
Day 8: Kyirong to Everest Base Camp (Chomolungma) to Tingri (480km, 11 hrs)

Today, after breakfast, we will start our journey towards the Everest Base Camp. We will pass through the beautiful Peiku Tso Lake and grasslands and continue driving until we reach Rongbuk Monastery, which is the highest monastery in the world. The drive will offer magnificent views of the Himalayan Mountain Range from the Gyawula Pass (5200m) on the way. We will spend some time exploring the area at the Everest Base Camp, also known as Chomolungma in the Tibetan Language. Later, we will drive to Tingri and spend the night at Tingri Hotelworld or a similar lodge.

On today's tour, you will begin by visiting the Potala Palace, the winter residence of the Dalai Lama since the 7th century. After lunch, you will head to the Jokhang Temple, established by the 33rd king of Tibet in the 7th century. The temple houses a statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at the age of twelve, and outside you can witness pilgrims prostrating.
