The flight takes place at sunrise or sunset, the most spectacular times of the day, when the light enhances the beauty of the landscape.

The experience begins with an introductory briefing, during which the pilot explains the balloon setup procedures and flight dynamics, and continues with an activity lasting approximately 3 hours in total, of which about 1 hour is actual flight time. The route may vary depending on weather conditions, making each experience unique. You will fly at low altitude over volcanic landscapes and unspoiled nature, admiring the famous Silvestri Craters while letting the wind carry you as the pilot adjusts the altitude to follow the air currents.

Capacity: up to 5 passengers plus the pilot (shared flight, non-exclusive).
Weight limit: The standard calculation is based on a weight of 80 kg per person. A 30% surcharge on the ticket price applies if this limit is exceeded.
Balloon model: Kubicek BB37D, I-SICL registration.
Departure point: Etna area/Centuripe. The balloon requires large open spaces for safe takeoff; the exact launch area will be defined according to weather conditions.

Departure time: sunrise or sunset. The exact time will be communicated by the crew in the days prior to the flight.
Pick-up: available on request, from Catania and surrounding areas, selectable as an extra during booking.

If you wish to enjoy a more exclusive experience, you can choose either the romantic flight for 2 people or the private flight for up to 5 people.
