Visit one of the famous holy places in Uzbekistan - Hazrat Daud Cave (Cave of St.David). Hazrat Daud Cave is very interesting and exotic place for tourists. According to legend biblical king David was escaping from the enemies and created the cave pushing huge rocks by bare hands.

Samarkand → Hazrat Daud Cave → Samarkand (Sightseeing tour duration: 5-6 hours)

08:00 Pick up from hotel and transfer to Aksay village (40 km) to visit Hazrat Daud Cave - holy place for Muslims and Christians. This village is full of legends and interesting stories.

09:00 Arrive at the foot of Mirankul mountains. It takes almost 2000 steps on foot to get to the top of the mountain. It is also possible to get to the top on horses or donkeys.

There is a small Muslim house on the top of the mountain. Here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the valley. It takes 200 steps more on foot from the Muslim house to get to the Hazrat Daud Cave. There you will enjoy view of the cave.

The cave has narrow corridor with width from 0.5 to 4 meters and length of 30 meters. Its height is 15 meters. Walk along the corridor until you reach the fingerprints of palms and feet of Hazrat Daud.

Go down the stairs to Aksay village and drive back to Samarkand. Drop off at the hotel. End of the tour.
